Tried the fried chicken, oxtail and the curry chicken all were delicious..very flavorful!! Reminded me of home cooking. You can tell it's made with care and love. The owner is very sweet and kind Aswell. Truly a hidden gem in Etobicoke. God bless the owners, staff and the building.

Had a wonderful experience at Mangoes Restaurant on lakeshore! Friday is cow foot soup day! The soup is savoury and full off nice well cooked cow foot and ingredients from the Caribbean. Daily specials for lunch is always available and this Christmas Sorrel is available and rum cake ! The smell when you walk in sad “welcome home” the owners are very nice and friendly and welcoming. The only Caribbean restaurant on the lakeshore that gets 5 stars!! Thank you again Charon for catching that cow foot ! You are the champ!

I got curried goat on rice & peas and it is always very good but this is the second time I found hair in my food so they need to be more careful around their cooking area w hairnets etc.

The Jamaican lady chef is exquisite in welcoming and in preparing the meal. The food is genuine, good portion and tastes as homemade. It can be truly hot but I took the medium hot and was very balanced.

The best jerk I’ve had in Canada. I’m Trinidadian and I’ve been searching high and low for a proper jerk and mangoes delivers with the best quality and quantity I’ve experienced. Food is cooked to perfection just like my grandmother on the islands did it and is a must for anyone looking to have authentic caribbean food in Toronto.

I just happened to stop by on my way home to grab dinner, and I’m so glad I did! I grew up around Caribbean food, especially Jamaican flavour, and since moving here I’ve been searching for something authentic. This spot is easily one of my top finds—it brought me right back.

I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and coleslaw, and it was amazing. Perfectly seasoned, not too spicy but full of flavour (I’d personally go spicier, but it was still spot on).

The food was a strong 9/10, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. On top of that, the woman working there (maybe the owner) was so kind and welcoming. Prices are fair for the quality you get.

I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it if you’re craving authentic Jamaican flavour.

Really enjoyed the food here stopped by for some soup and fried chicken plus some dumplings on the side it was really nice I’m happy we still have places like this around definitely stop by if ur lookin for some Jamaican food

OMG the food smells so good, Ox tail was in prep so I grabbed a couple of patties they were awesome. Light and flaky like they should be. Great little spot for sustenance while biking along the Martin Goodman trail. 🤤

Some of my favourite jerk chicken in the city! I honestly have no idea why there would be any bad reviews for this place…
