For sure they have a new owner/management. I haven't been there for a few years and when I went back a few months ago I couldn't believe how it has changed, I order the fish and chips, when the order came, the plate was smaller, the fish on top of the fries, fries were mushi because of it, I had to ask for another place to cut the fish as I didn't have room to move the food, no coleslaw with the order, and the price almost double of what it was before, ridiculous. My last time.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Paid over $115 and had it delivered. 5 pieces of fish, medium fries and calamari that came with coleslaw.
The fries were NOT cooked!! That kind of money for small and large size halibut, calamari was rubber and uncooked fries was disappointing to say the least. When I called they said I could come in and pick up fries for free. The whole point for delivery was not being able to drive. They tried to tell me the driver took too long.
The fries were not cooked! So more than half of our $115 order was garbage! Will NEVER order from them again.

The order came out very fast. The server was pleasant. The fries were hard as a rock and tasteless. We expressed our concerns and they offered gravy. We were also told the potatoes were different than before. The fish seemed over crispy and oily. The fries were small bits as well.

This was my second visit after a number of years and was very disappointed. I went with a friend and our orders were sub-standard too say the least. I ordered Grilled Scallops and vegetables and for the price it was not worth it. I received 7 meazly tiny scallops ($15.99) and vegetables were from the freezer and mushy for an additional $3.99. My friend ordered Grilled halibut which was dry and fries which were the highlight of the meal. Service was good but needless to say, were won't be back. I also noticed the lack of patrons from the last time I was there.

Good food, large portion. It was a bit too oily and expensive.

Definitely not what you would hope it would be

Yet another business where there are too lazy and sneaky to bother changing the name to Muhammad's fish and chips

You got a stinky attitude from the chef considering that it costs over $100 for four orders of fish and chips

And then there's a big sign at the plexiglass barrier telling you that it's 15 cents per ketchup packet

I'm sure it's been there for many decades and there's no reason it needs to be there anymore

I recently ordered some fish and chips with an order of onion rings, the fish was delicious, the chips could have a little more crispy but they were fine, the onion rings were good but not many of them, I think we about ten all together

My go-to fish and chips spot! Ever since a favourite location of mine relocated and changed ownership, I’ve been coming here. This place is so much better in quality, portion size and price. I love dining in as the service here is always fast and friendly.

What kind of fish and chips place doesn’t give condiments, no ketchup no tartare sauce no fork no nothing. I even asked for gravy and they didn’t give it!! Not even a single napkin
Like how are you so cheap??? Don’t go here if you want regular fish and chips! They’re too cheap

I’m a fan! Four person halibut platter hits the spot. Tasty fish, good crunch. Excellent chips. Gravy is a nice add. Good coleslaw.

We are British people and know all about good fish and chips. It's part of our culture. This is by far the worst dreadful food we have ever had. The fish was very greasy the chips were half cooked. The teenager server barely spoke English, she made 3 different mistakes with our order. The mushy peas were out of a can heated up with a microwave, with cold spots throughout. We are definitely never going back to this place. We always go to Kingsway fish and chips they are top notch quality. We were just experimenting with a new place close by. What a mistake, please save your money and time. If I could give it zero stars I would. The only positive thing I can say is the decor was nice but you don't eat the decor. Disgusting food!!!!!!

I usually go to another fish and chips place on the Queensway and I was very reluctant about trying somewhere new (the other place was closed Mondays). To my surprise the fish and chips here was very good! The orders are huge and the lady that was working was very very kind. I’d reccomend the half order of halibut and chips or shrimp and chips. The coleslaw is nice and creamy, the gravy and tartar sauce was spot on however I wasn’t crazy about the calamari. Overall very good, I’d definetly be back!
