My favorite Fish&Chips shop closed and I could never find anything that tasted the same until I found McNies. They have delicious Fish with a batter that isn't oily, all while in their cozy classic atmosphere with amazing service.

We ordered 8 PC's of halibut and fries. The quality was good as usual however I feel that in order to rush the orders (since it was Good Friday), they did not allow the oil to drain so there was a lot of oil in the boxes.We had also called ahead to find out whether there was a Good Friday menu and we were told it was the same regular menu. As we were 4 couples, I was paid by the other couples in advance based on the prices on the website however when I went to the restaurant, not only did McNies not offer everything on the menu but the prices were higher than what was on the menu by 10%. This was very disappointing as I was not prepared for the increase or to have changed the order since they were not offering an item on the menu

Absolute HORRIBLE experience. Completely unprofessional establishment. I placed an order over the phone on Monday asking if they’d be doing preorders for Good Friday. Was told yes, gave my information for pick up and was told to come for 5:45 Friday. We show up and were told we were not getting our order and had to wait in an hour long line. No solution and the help was in no way sympathetic of their decision to void preorders. A family even came after us and same thing, we’re told their preorder didn’t count. Now we’re left without a Good Friday meal and a horrible taste in our mouth for the lack of compassion for customer service. Do not waste your time going here.
