I really hated updating my previous five star review from 9 years ago The owner and the owner's son always recognized us When I worked really late when they had the club across the street his son knew me by name Both of them knew right away extra lettuce extra onion super assorted on white
We almost always got the same order to assorted Subs one with no onion one with no tomatoes And the super assorted extra lettuce onions sauce and salt pepper And occasionally a third assorted sub and always three large chocolate milks
Even when the owner started doing more of the work behind the scenes The employees they have now think they're paying for the extra lettuce and onions I thought they might have just been out of the RED onions they usually use but now I see they've completely stopped and it changes the taste of the sub completely So much so my wife is perfected making subs at home just grabbing assorted meat and onions from Costco with their Italian bread
It never bothered me that the store is older and outdated and still doesn't but everything was always fresh and tasted good The last three times I've been there I've had to remind the employees that it's a super assorted knowing full well they knew what they were doing twice I've had to remind them they were missing a piece of ham once a piece of salami just one not an accidental oh I forgot it was a super assorted
However the taste has changed so much because of the onions that was the final nail in the coffin
But like they say all good things must come to an end
Thank you guys for the many many years of fantastic Subs Unfortunately I can no longer give this place five stars
It is possible the owner no longer own this place as I've not seen the gray Buick parked parked at the side of the building

Same great Mr Sub. I appreciate how they keep their original classic subs with the same flavour and taste from 40 yrs ago. This is one of the few locations that is open late. They are very friendly here and quick to serve you . The place is super clean , albeit long in the tooth. Hasn't been renovated since probably it opened ! At night it has those horrid fluorescent lights that do not evoke a comforting feeling. If all they did was get rid of those lights and added a half dozen full colour and bright hanging led lamp lights, it would improve the atmosphere and feeling of the place by 100 percent. Would feel more welcoming and probably make the place feel and look newer. I still recommend this place in spite of the lighting. I just feel they would probably attract more customers, especially more women at night.

The staff is super nice. Always a consistent satusfying sub.
I recommend a more ergonomic workstation for the staff. Some have to overreach to get toppings or stand on their toes to put the subs into the oven.

This is one of the best Mr. Subs in GTA. Always have a good experience here. The ingredients were fresher than other locations, the service is friendly (they remember my order) and my sub tastes so good! Highly recommend. They have better ingredients than Subway, especially for vegetarian subs.

I had a really bad experience at this MR Sub location. I ordered the tuna fish item, and it had a horrible smell — definitely not fresh, and I couldn’t even eat it. On top of that, two staff members were talking loudly in their own language (I believe it was Indian), and they were rude and unprofessional. The whole atmosphere felt unwelcoming. I would not recommend anyone to visit this location.
If you like a good sub this place might be for you! By far my favourite Mr. Sub!
