Old Mill Toronto Restaurant

Concerts are very good, drink prices are reasonable, food choices are limited and pricey but portions are large. We split a salad and a main and couldn't finish the main. Wish they would make a quiet enjoyment announcement like they do at the Jazz Bistro, two tables of friends talked all evening and if the music got louder, so did they. Don't understand how people pay to come to a concert but don't listen to it, to the detriment of others.

The food was ok. Some were hotter then others, like the pasta and scrambled eggs was much warmer then some others. But overall the food was tasty. The eggs Benedict could have more sauce and it can be a little warmer. And the bacon was kinda chewy and not warm at all. But still tasty. The cold food was great. And dessert was tasty. I'll definitely will be coming back for 60.00 per person. All-you-can-eat buffet.

I like the food. I hope in the future they would have more varieties of the main meal because I notice they have more desserts and pastries. Overall, the service was great and the food is fantastic

Another great meal experience at Old Mill. One of the best brunch buffets I have gone to, its my go to every time I visit Toronto. Food is always top notch, great dessert options, kept very clean and fresh.

We all went for high tea and were not disappointed.
The atmosphere was beautiful as always and the service was exceptional.

This was my first visit to Old Mills Restaurant, and I was instantly charmed by its vintage 1990s decor—think wooden-structured corridors, staircases, and a castle-like exterior that’s straight out of a nostalgic movie!

A quick tip: parking is extra, but I highly recommend walking through the connected hotel to get to the restaurant—the hallways are stunning, lined with beautiful murals and decorations perfect for photos.

As for the buffet, the selection isn’t the widest, but the food quality is top-notch. The desserts and fresh fruits are abundant, and every dish is beautifully plated. If you’re just here for a meal, it might not be your first pick, but it’s ideal as an Instagram-worthy spot or a venue for catching up with friends and colleagues.

At $55 per person on weekends, the price is totally reasonable for the experience. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

We really wanted to like this place but it just isn't good. The food is mediocre at best, the service is super slow and we just expected more because we love the Old Mill so much. Do yourselves a favour and eat somewhere else.

We went there on Christmas day. Had a 11 am reservation. Service was very good and all the food was yummy and fresh. The building is beautiful. We will come back for the next special occasion.

It's an amazing brunch experience in a classic elegant place with high quality food. Definitely will go over and over.

Even though I had not set up very high expectations for the Buffett, but the “fresh oyster “ still completely destroy my appetite, I had about 5 oysters and 2 of them were so stinky bad. I had to go to washroom to rinse my mouth. Very disappointed.

$50/pp weekday lunch was worth it. Service was excellent, ambient environment was very fitting of the building history. All the food was very delicious, lots of flavours. It would have been better if there were more options for desserts (the ones there were all very good).

Mashed potatoes is a must-try, suprising garlic flavour is a perfect combination. Goat meat is also worth trying.

I cannot believe how bad this place is. First of all, noone ever answers the phone. Period. You leave message and someone may call you back days later. Anyways, I made reservations for my mother in laws 70th birthday for January 1st 2026 for 9 people. I spoke to someone on their end around 4 pm nov 30th. Same day around 7 58 pm i called back and canceled the reservation by leaving the message on answering machine. There is no other way to ever speak to anyone at this place. Today jan 1st they charged my visa card with $160 dollars.i had to give my card at the time of making reservations as this is how they do it. I can not believe how would they ignore my voicemail and just go ahead and charge my card. I tried calling several times today but like always there is no answer.

Don't come for the food !!

I came with a group of 15 for the Christmas Dinner buffet. There were plenty of dishes to choose from, everything we ate was delicious and the buffet was promptly refilled. Our servers were attentive and courteous. My only critique is a little more room should be left between tables for patrons to get through.

Disappointment. The food was less than mediocre. I was there for the Christmas Buffet. Majority of food stations were empty everytime I went to get a plate. And the options were not good. The kitchen staff were working hard to keep the hot foods filled but the cheeses, salad, seafood, the tables in the middle were bare. It was difficult to get a plate of food to eat because there were only scraps remaining every time I went up. And every item had a weird sauce on it.
The service here was ok, nothing above and beyond. I had to ask for refills of water and my plate wasn't cleared by the time I came back from the buffet. I was up all night with an upset stomach from the dinner. 🤢 $80 and didn't even get 2 plates of food.
I also asked for another pop to find out that it is $4/pop and no free refills. I feel like I was ripped off.
And finally, the restaurant needs a deep cleaning. And some new furniture. There were giant cobwebs hanging from the vaulted ceiling. How?? Do they not clean?? Will NEVER go back. 👎
Did not live up to its reputation. And would never recommend. It would have been better to order a pizza.
