My husband (the Guy) and I decided at the last minute while out for a walk this morning (August long weekend in the city) to pop in and try the breakfast/brunch at Pinky Swear on Lakeshore near Islington in New Toronto. The atmosphere and decor were instantly welcoming - a sort of urban country vibe with bright walls and cozy wood furniture, including a beautiful old carved oak podium doubling as a host stand.
