I think this place would sit between 3.5 to 4 stars overall.
The place seems newly renovated so it’s very comfortable, clean, and the service staff are very friendly and make sure you are taking care of.
Food in general, I noticed some are good , some are just ok depending on what you ordered. Today we had several kinds sashimi (Tai, Maguro, Hamachi) and fish are quite fresh. Especially the Tai, we ordered a whole fish, seems fresh and tasty! But it’s a bummer in my opinion the ginger and wasabi provided is subpar when comparing to other Japanese restaurants I went to. Fish would taste even better IMO particularly if they use better wasabi. Worth mentioning if u order the whole fish , they are willing to make a fish soup using the head and bones from your fish and the broth tastes quite light and refreshing. Thumbs up!
Tried the steak(Fillet mignon) last week, it’s just ok because steak wasn’t hot enough when it arrived the table and I asked for medium and seems it’s cooked to medium well. The steak is still soft and I was in a hurry so I just let it go. This dish still taste good but with abit room for improvement.
The miso black cod today is good. Very soft with miso flavor and the portion is decent comparing to other Japanese restaurants I visited for similar price.
Factoring the asking price (not cheap) , good and not so good, so overall, I put it between 3.5 to 4, closer to 4 based on the food I tried.
I probably would visit again when in the area.

What a great place. Second time there. Owners are great.
We live in Kingston Ontario and always have dinner there when in Toronto.
Spectacular! The reason I go out to any restaurant is to experience food that I can't make at home. The sashimi is beautiful. The hot dishes are expertly presented. You cannot go wrong with the sushi. It's fabulous! Service is a bit lacking...but the food makes up for it.

My wife and I had Teppanyaki here on Sunday. The experience, all of the staff from the manager, waiter, to the master chef, and the food, were all above 5 stars. I can't overstate how impeccable the service was.
I am so happy we were able to sit with another party for this experience and celebrate one of their birthday's with them, and most importantly, that we got the experience we had travelled so far for.
The lobster, wagyu, sirloin, NY striploin, scallops, rice, and veggies were all out of this world! We shared three incredible desserts. The Crème Brule, Mango Ice Cream and deep fried ice cream were such a great way to cap off our meal. Also a surprisingly great miso soup and salad appetizer, which made me sad because I didn't want to fill up on them too much!
This was one of the best meals I've had in my life and certainly the best overall experience I've had a restaurant.

The food was a little salty for my taste but delicious nonetheless 😋 the cook really loved what he does and you can tellby his enthusiasm when cooking, and the humour he puts in it. Lovely place and atmosphere

Dinner at Prince was one of the best meal I've had in a very long time. The quality of the ingredients, the taste and the presentation is absolutely phenomenal. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Mississauga/Etobicoke area. The service was great and the decor was beautiful.

My friends and I have always enjoyed Prince Japanese Steakhouse, especially their chicken teriyaki but this latest visit was a letdown. The dish used to come with cut pieces, teriyaki sauce, soup, and salad, making for a well-balanced meal. This time, though, it was just a chicken teriyaki with cauliflower rice - no veggies except one lonely carrot, also no salad at all. I understand restaurants go through changes, but the price increase combined with the cutbacks on the meal quality feels disappointing. It seems like they’ve raised prices to cover renovation costs, but unfortunately, it’s come at the expense of the food experience. I really hope they bring back the quality and portions that made this place a favourite. Until then, it’s just not the same. Huge disappointment.
Love going here and the staff/food is always top notch! My favourite restaurant to go too when I'm attending Anime North
We celebrated my mother in law’s birthday and chose Teppanyaki table and we loved the whole experience. The owner greets and checks in with all the guests personally.
