My first visit to Queensway Fish and Chips was nothing short of excellent. The restaurant carries a timeless charm, reminiscent of an era when service and quality were the cornerstones of dining. Unlike many modern establishments that rely on mass-produced, frozen offerings and bare-bones interiors, Queensway stands out with its commitment to fresh preparation, attentive service, and a warm, nostalgic atmosphere.
The space is exceptionally clean, and the décor evokes a comfortable, old-fashioned feel that is increasingly rare to find. It’s clear why this business has endured over the years: their fish is cooked to order, ensuring a crisp and flavorful result, and the staff provide service that feels both genuine and thoughtful.

First time customers. Fish was delicious. Had the halibut like many previous posts. The fish was perfectly cooked, not at all oily as I've seen mentioned. The fries were very good on their own, but we also upgraded one order to a poutine and it was very tasty. I would definitely eat there again. Not sure how I've never been there before after living so many years in the neighborhood. Glad we stopped by!
I believe its family owned and the staff who served us were very friendly and kind.
Don't skip out and give it a try if you're hesitant about this place.

We did a bit of a Etobicoke Fish and Chips experiment today; ordered from both Queensway F&C and Kingsway F&C
Queensway: not bad, solid piece of Haddock, fresh cut fries. A bit too oily
Kingsway F&C: solid piece of Haddock, fresh cuts fries, not oily. GREAT atmosphere!
To the Queensway owners; the oil needs to be changed, you can see it and taste it on the fries

This place is great, food is awesome prices are fair and the staff are lovely.
Anyone not leaving a 5 star review is lying.
Wow this place has been around since the 70s, hardworking owner which is nice to see. Place was a bit run down like you would expect for the location. One of the boxes fell on the ground and the worker picked it right back up to put the food in. Wish I didn't see that, otherwise the fish and chips were actually good. We also tried the pineapple and calamari, they use the same batter for everything so it was a bit over whelming towards the end.
Have it delivered on some Fridays and I have never been dissapointed.
Delicious fish and chips! And the homemade onion rings are outstanding and we really enjoyed the coleslaw. The batter is light and crispy. I ordered in advance on Good Friday and it was hot and ready right on time. I highly recommend Queensway Fish and Chips!
Fish and chips was soo good. Will definitely come back again
