I live close so I really want to give this a higher review. The food is okay...I like the casual vibe. I dont like the prices. The spicy shrimp is close to $40 and doesnt come with anything. By the time I order a side to go with I'm closer to 50-60 for basically 5 shrimp and a side of rice. Should be more like 25. My husband likes the food but when the bill comes we are always shocked. High price not much food. Ordered sodas and the glass was so small and filled with ice..two sips and done. We would come more often if the prices reflected the portions. None of the "mains" come with anything so it should reflect in the pricing.

I brought out of town guests to Royal Meats based on prior visits and good, quality food. Unfortunately this visit was far from what i expected. The food quality was poor, the server was pre-occupied, disengaged and indifferent. Mistakes were made with the food order. One of the desserts described as containing pistachios came with walnuts and one of my guests is allergic to walnuts. By 9pm the bar area was packed per with drunk, loud and pushy men using inappropriate language. My guests found it very intimidating. Based on the experience I had, I won't be back.

Excellent food, platters are a bit on the expensive side, but that's just how things are nowadays. I highly recommend a royal cannon if you want to try something new, they are outstanding.

Very nice restaurant. I will visit again. It has a good vibe, nice style, patio, bar, a large fridge showcasing the meet and more. Yet, in my opinion, there's nothing so special about the food. In fact, I regret I didn't ask more questions before I ordered.
