It was my first time here at Rudys. The food was awesome, fresh and tasted very good however ordering was a struggle as the lady at the desk did not speak English and was impossible to understand. This made ordering exactly what I want difficult. I asked her what the pickle chips are and after her responding 3 times I gave up and got the coleslaw because I just couldn’t understand her. After I ordered I went downstairs to use the washroom. For anyone doing the same be warned that the stairs are very greasy and slippery. Once I got downstairs the smell of mold was strong.

This was my first time here! I got the rude dude. It's a double patty smashed with cheese, luttue,tomatoes, and Rudy sauce. Also, I got the skinny fries with a pop. Don't know how they work around here. But the 2 customers behind me got their food before me. The only good thing is they bring the food to your table. The smashed burger had a nice crust on it, but the patties were paper thin. I would have liked it a little bit more meaty. The fries were okay, nothing special. They are cutting back and changed their fries to McKean frozen fries . No longer fresh cut go to burger priest down the street much better fries, and burger

The food was good! The crust on the patty was divine. Unrelated to the food but be warned! The stairs down to the bathroom are a DEATH TRAP. Slipped and fell even though they looked dry. Fair warning

I had the rude dude which is a double patty and it was nice and moist. The thick french fries were not the best. In my opinion, shake shack as a burger and fries is still better. I would return to Rudy’s for just a burger not the fries. Overall a pleasant experience will be bringing family here in the future.
Dietary restrictions: Upon chatting with them on Instagram and reconfirming at the restaurant, they serve Halal meat, which is excellent. That’s the reason I came here.

5/5 Early 90s diner vibe with elevated burgers. Changing fry oil to beef tallow would be the bing on the cherry if you want 5 stars. Everything else was great, including the shakes!

Everything was great, except I wish the cashier understood English better. She took my name down as something insulting and then called it out. Her apology was not sincere. Any who understood English would have realized there was a communication error and would ask for clarification. The food was good, as always.

One of the best poutines I've had outside of Ottawa and Quebec... The cashier was quite nice too 😊 The fries were perfect! Just the right amount of crunch 🥰 and that gravy is drinkable 😅 Though I love a cheesey poutine, I feel if the curds were a bit smaller, it would melt better. If they use the same amount of curds but in smaller pieces, it would be PERFECT!

Ordered through ubereats and it came well packaged in a Rudy bag. Immediately could smell what seemed like McDonald’s fries. Pretty close. Portion was generous! Only negative is they were very salty. I could see why there’s an option for “no salt” when you order. I would just hope for something in between. Burgers were otherwise delicious.
Finally came in after ordering from Skip a month ago... for an even more amazing burger (fresh off the grill with yummy crispy meat lace edges!) and such lovely genuine attention from the staff and Raman. Finally tried the pickle chips too and boy was I happily surprised and impressed. Thin, bright with a crispy batter and a tangy mayo-based (df) dip! Brought my friend, a rated chef in Banff just back from a week of 3-stars tasting menus in Napa Valley, and he was thrilled for this genuine good burger & fries meal. This was exactly what we both needed. Totally recommend!!
