I was looking for something different to eat from the usual chain restaurants and drove past Scotty Bons and thought it looked interesting from the outside and decided to give it a shot. I was greeted by a wonderful server who talked to me about the menu and made some recommendations as I was unsure what to get. I decided on the Jerk chicken bowl and let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. It was one of the most amazing things I've eaten in a very long time. The chicken was so tender and juicy with all the right spices. Rice and Peas was the bomb too! This place is a must try.

I guess they tried to put their own spin on classic dishes but the curry goat had so much cinnamon in it that it wasn't curry goat at all. The oxtail was below average to average. The jerk chicken sandwich didn't taste how you would expect and the shrimp sandwich was decent because I have no prior reference to compare it to. The yellow rice was good but I won't go back because there are better options just east of this olace within the same or lower price point.
I ordered 50 pcs chicken for my engagement party. When they were picked up, they said "sorry, we only had 30." I ordered a week in advance, and I left my phone number with them. No one called, no one bothered to tell me... I had to miss out on my own party to put together extra food.

I was expecting real Jamaican cuisine, and I was very disappointed. I ordered the curry goat. This is a poor imitation. I prefer the real Jamaican cuisine where you get rude customer service but good tasting food. Sorry, but zero stars for the taste.The portions were generous but I could not eat it.
