Simon Sushi at Lakeshore

Previously, we ordered sushi from this place, and everything was fine, but unfortunately, this time we were disappointed. The sushi looked as if they had been sitting out all day rather than freshly prepared, the fish tasted off, and they were poorly made and falling apart. However, overall, this place is still better than many others.

Cozy little place worth visiting. If you appreciate super fresh and super tasty dishes, this is your place. Very attentive staff if you decide to dine-in, but take out is an option. Highly recommend Simon Sushi. Enjoy!

I got takeout here recently for the first time and it was amazing!
Ordered veg tempura and unagi maki.
The portions are great - nice thick slices of veggies for the tempura, and the maki were huge, almost the diameter of a soda can! Easily two full meals for one person or enough for two people to share and be totally full.
And, great price! Cost less than a gross quarter pounder meal from McD.

Best overall sushi place I've found between Long Branch and Mimico!

This is my local sushi place for work lunches. I am NEVER disappointed. Sushi is always tasty, fresh and the serving size is generous. The salmon pizza tho is on another level from anywhere else I’ve tried. So delicious I’ve had it days in a row and for $10 you can’t beat the value. Happy this place is here!!

Maybe just a me thing, but the thick cuts of the sushi was really off putting.i couldn't even bite through them properly. The California roll was huge too.

I want to gatekeep because this place is pure gold but it’s not right to the good people who work here. Price, quality, and service all excellent. My fav spot for sushi can’t go wrong. One of lakeshores greatest hidden gems.

I’ve been getting sushi here for the last couples years now and their food has always been consistently great! They give the largest portions I’ve ever seen compared to other sushi places and it’s always great!

Good value for the prices: large portions.very clean place, efficient and polite staff, huge range on the menu, very nice atmosphere, good location. Parking can be limited but it’s not too bad.

We ordered a family pack online and picked it up. The portion was huge, and the sushi was good. However the sides, particularly kalamari rings were overly cooked and like rubber.

I've been going to this place at least once a week for lunch/dinner! They are very nice and have great customer service :)
Their quality is consistent and have great prices compared to what's around !

On September 22, 2024, I bought black and dragon sushi. I paid $13,65 for each. However, it’s a fraud because fake crab meat was inside instead of shrimp tempura. Customer be aware! It’s absolutely unacceptable! Do not recommend this place to anyone!
