Simon Sushi at Lakeshore

First time trying Simon Sushi and placed a picked up order for a few party tray. The rolls and nigiri are pretty big, so you definitely get your moneys worth. The only issue I found was that there is way too much rice! The rice is very mushy and did not have a good consistency. I ended up ordering here because of the high rating on google, but I don’t think I’d be coming back. Got mixed reviews from everyone trying the sushi, so some people may like it and some may not.. but the main complaint was the rice.

The guy taking orders at the front hates his job but the food is amazing! They need someone that deals with customers to have customer service skills. Been there 4 times and great food but zero customer service. Did dine in 3 times and takeout once.

Great food and amazing service. Also great value for the price! Would definitely recommend going for lunch to take advantage of the specials.

My friends and I happened to be super hungry after painting at the Crock-a-doodle across the street and found this place. The portions are definitely worth the price and it was so delicious. Service was very kind, as well! Definitely worth checking out.

Miso soup was delicious. Fried seafood was hideous, the fried sweet potatoes were good. Big portions, if you love to overeat and love huge portions this is your place, but not an exquisite dish experience for sure.

Please stop by for quick lunch. I honestly I was not disappointed. I'm not a huge Sushi fan, however the alternate options were pretty filling. I left with an entirely full stomach and some leftovers😊.
We ordered some Roll combos, a Veggie Tempura App, Tofu Steak, Salmon rolls, along with some Veggie Gyoza and rice. 🍚 🥟🍣🍱
Portions are A1 and atmosohere is comfortable, with open lighting and good space between tables. Just know, that the Tofu Steak is just raw Tofu battered and fried like Tempura, with teriyaki sauce. I don't recommend getting the tofu steak, along with the tempura. It's a lot of fried foods in one sitting😬 left me feeking kinda icky. Knowing what U do now, I'd deffinitely return :)

The server was very friendly and very welcoming... she was good with guest experience and I hope servers should be like her .

I come here at least 2 times a month for 5 years. Never ever disappoints. Giant portions very reasonable pay. Never got sick from here. Definitely recommend

First time trying. Miso soup was good. Big quantity but quality is meh. All fried food was deep fried in bad oil. It had bitter rancid aftertaste…
I informed male server about it but he didn’t seem to care. Not recommended.

We ordered Simon Sushi from Uber eats tonight. We recently heard good things so tried this place instead of our regular spot. It was awful! The rolls where so chewy and had no taste. Also chicken fried rice, literally looked it must have been sitting for hours. Also flavorless. We will not be ordering again.
