This is a place that you can call your own. The atmosphere on any given day is second to none, oh my, when the Toronto teams are on the tv's the patrons are so energetic, cheering clapping and having fun. Food is delicious and priced very reasonable. The staff from Johnny to Ellena, Rheal and Jasmin are the best and they look after each customer as if they are serving themselves, if you haven't been to SSJ you are missing out

Sadly I took two friends out for a long overdue girls night out. I ordered the Italian steak sandwich. Not only was the steak overdone (I asked for medium rare), they barely put any onions or peppers and added no sauce. The bread it came on was stale. The fries looked like they had not cleaned their oil in weeks. I have never seen brown fries like that. We will not be back. McDonald’s would have been a better choice. I’m sorry Johnny isn’t well to be there to cook. I never had this bad a meal out that I felt compelled to write about it.

The mushroom burger 🍔 is a good 10/10 ; the size, the texture, not over cooked, the fries chunky and salty, a really great burger. The 1st Mojito tasted like cucumber 🥒 water, the waitress was kind enough to get me another one with more Fizz, the second one was a charm ! The calamari 🦑 entree, the portion was confusing, its was more pieces of calamari rather than a calamari plate. The chicken pizza was disappointing, the cheese 🧀 is good, but the dough tasted cardboardy, I assume that it was frozen. Tomato sauce 🥫 + the sliced tomatoes 🍅 was too much. Nonetheless, it’s still worth to visit ; the view, the breeze and the sunset. Great for a good chilling evening.

This place is really a hidden gem with a great menu & great service! I recently visited Southside Johnny’s for a quiet night out, and I have to say, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was laid-back, perfect for unwinding after a long day. But what really made it memorable was the food and service!! 10/10!!
If you’re a fan of hearty meal, you have to try their beef ribs !!! The loaded nachos were an ideal appetizer to start things off!! Crispy, cheesy, and loaded with toppings. Honestly, I could have eaten the nachos as a meal in itself! (Definitely more of a share!!)
What really made the night stand out, though, was the bartender. The brunette behind the bar was not only friendly and welcoming, but she had a fantastic sense of humor that really brightened up the quiet evening. Her service was spot on she was efficient, attentive, and genuinely fun to talk to. All in all, Southside Johnny’s hit all the right notes, and I’ll definitely be back. Whether you’re craving great food or just looking for a chill place to grab a drink, this spot is well worth a visit!
