My server was amazing. She had great knowledge and recommendations. However, the salmon was over cooked, crispy and dry. The fish and chips were also burnt, definitely overcooked.

My husband and I went out on a date night. We both had steak and sushi main. Really unique and tasty. Table outside was great, inside we found it too noisy. Overall great night!

State and Main has been our go-to for years, but recent changes have left me disappointed. My favorite dish, the enchiladas, used to come as two hearty portions—now it’s just one, cut in half (see the photo: that takeout box used to be completely full). The quality is still there, but the portion shrinkage is hard to ignore. It’s frustrating to see a once-reliable spot scale back like this.
I’ll still consider ordering, but it’s no longer the same experience. Sadly, I’m not as eager to recommend it as I once was.

Take out. You have to wait while your food waits for you lol...it was cold. Fish and chips...very little fish, very large breading and over cooked (fries also). Did not like the Brussels sprouts dish...stems were left fully on too.

AC was broken day we went....it was HOT. Sat outside. Service was good food was good. Bathroom sinks are wierd and too small.
Visiting Toronto from South Western Ontario and stopped in on a whim. Had a great time. We came in with a large group: four adults, three children, and two teenagers. Our server Dee was awesome! Managed all our orders perfectly and was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and came in good time. I could not have asked for better.
Atmosphere of the whole restraunt is friendly and warm. Will visit again if ever back in the area.
