This is the only location in the GTA that opts out of any special subway promotion. buyer beware. Any promos in your subway app or that you see online will not work at this store because the franchise owner is the cheapest dude alive. The ONLY STORE in the entirety of the GTA not to honor subway rewards because apparently it causes a loss for him. They will also mark items out of stock online at this location so no one can get them with a promo. Also this store was on LIMA MAPs, where they straight up brought 5 people from another country to work here, claiming no Canadian applied despite Toronto's unemployment rate being nearly 10% as of December 2024. You'll find the employees here can barely speak English, barely know how to make your sub and barely know the basics of hygiene

I'm giving 2 stars for my previous experience with this particular location being good with a different staff member.
This time it seemed like someone was new, and he was terrible.
Firstly, we had an offer on our app so we thought of ordering through the app but it showed that the Veggie Patty was Out of stock but check the photo where it clearly is available. So we asked him if it's ok that we order the chicken teriyaki which was exactly the same price, and instead of chicken he would add the veggie patty but he denied saying it will create an "Inventory Shortage". He also had no idea how to change the inventory.
Then, my wife asked him to add shredded cheese in her sandwich, and the guy goes ahead and adds 1 scoop of cheese. Their scoop looked like the smallest scoop size we have seen in all of the subways we have been to so far and we like Subway sandwiches so we have gone to a lot of different places in different provinces.
The Scoop did not even cover a 6 inch sandwich and the guy was spreading crumbs of cheese trying to show it's covered. So my wife asked him to put more cheese and he denied and told us that he is only allowed to give 1 scoop. So we ended up having the sliced cheese and it was not worth our time to fight with someone with zero empathy and direction. Lastly, we had to ask 9 times to put extra sauces when every time he was squeezing bare minimum sauces and making faces when every time we were asking him to do so which was ridiculous and the sandwich was still dry and felt like we were only having veggies.
I will be going to corporate for this misrepresentation, unfair treatment as this is clearly unacceptable.

Eating a sub sandwich isn't something that I want very often but, when I do get that craving, Subway is the #1 choice for me for the best selections, best toppings, freshness and delicious sandwiches.
Yesterday, I happened to be wandering around Rexdale Mall and spotted a big sign in the Subway window promoting their newest product offering - a footlong Mexican Churro for $3 (plus tax.) Yummy! I've eaten Churros before at other places. As a big cinnamon lover, I ordered one from the friendly Subway staff member behind the counter. She heated it up in the microwave and I drove back home to happily eat it.
It was about 10 minutes after the Churro was heated up that I started to eat it. What a major disappointment! Perhaps because it had been sitting too long, the pastry was tough, thick and chewy. The cinnamon topping was nice. But, with each bite, I disliked it more and more but ate the whole thing anyway because I'm like that! The aftertaste wasn't good so I needed to chew gum to get the cloying taste out of my mouth.
Safe to say that I won't ever be buying a Churro from any Subway location ever again! Or, maybe even from any other food provider for that matter. But, I will return to Subway for their sub sandwiches at some point but not soon... Perhaps if I had eaten the Churro right away in the restaurant, it would not have been so chewy, but I'll never know because I won't buy it again.
Had a good experience, Thanks to Daivik, who was friendly and patient, and took his time to help me decide what I wanted even though it was before closing hours. Made me a Great Sub ! Thank you. ⚡️

Best subway in town. Daivik makes best sandwiches.
The sub girl doesn’t speak English! April 12/24- I came, here cause it’s convenient but that was a mistake, in for a foot long sub and asked for a bit of mayo but the old lady dumped a bunch for me. That was extremely unprofessional and it sucks cause she also tried to scam me of olives. She ruined my subway experience and y’all won’t expect me to return anytime soon

kush is the best man to come to for an amazing experience. he always stays a couple minutes after closing because he knows me or my friends are coming to order something on our lunch break. great guy and he does a great job making our food and never complains. i can understand wanting to leave when the store closes but he ensures we are taken care of first! i appreciate that a lot!

It’s ridiculous. Right now as I type this my spouse has been waiting in a line up almost an hr just to order one sub. They’re dealing with an online order. You should have two sandwich makers to accommodate others while making such a big order. Absolutely unacceptable.
