Warm, charming and welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic and delicious food. Our server Melissa overheard it was my birthday and she went above and beyond. She even put a little birthday candle in my breakfast poutine.

Came with my 4 year old son. They asked if we wanted a kids menu and we said yes. My son with the kids menu in front of him asked for french toast and bacon. We were brought the full adult sized order of both items. When we went to pay the bill we pointed out to the manager at the register what had happened. Rather than be apologetic and take accountability for the mistake the manager became defensive and told us that we must have ordered wrong and felt it was necessary to educate us that lots of people order food for their children from the adult menu. This poor reaction from the manager leads me to believe that the staff are probably trained to take advantage of children to make a few extra dollars. We will not be returning.

Sunset Grill is a great spot for breakfast — the food is delicious, service is good, and everything is usually quick and smooth. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, which makes it a reliable go-to.
I’ve been there several times and I usually share the Meat Lovers omelette and chocolate chip pancakes with my friend — both are absolutely delicious! It’s always a satisfying and tasty experience. Highly recommend for a casual and enjoyable breakfast.

What did I do not to deserve the spinach feta wrap sauce? I order it just for that sauce smh! Probably won’t order from this location again. The waffles are soggier than north queen location 100%

The whole staff there is absolutely lovely especially the one serve Lia, she is so kind and full of light! The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere feels very welcoming and family friendly, they also make their restaurant inclusive for all. Overall the experience is one of the best i’ve experienced at a restaurant and will continue to go there. I am not usually a breakfast person but they know how to crack an egg!
Came for breakfast the other day, and what can I say, the food was spectacular, the environment felt extremely welcoming, and most importantly the service was great! I had the pleasure of having Lia as my server, in which she kindly helped me order as my first time eating at sunset grill. Overall amazing experience, will totally be back!
