I ordered the Thanksgiving Feast from Swiss Chalet, and it was absolutely excellent! The entire process was so convenient — the order was ready quickly, and everything was packed neatly and still warm. The meal itself tasted delicious and really had that cozy, festive feel. I was very happy with the quality and the speed of service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free holiday meal! 🦃🍽️

Tables were dirty. Server didn't even look like she wanted to be there. The lemon water we received had some sort of red dye on it so we didn't even bother drinking it. Ordered a quesadilla and it had zero flavor. The server didn't even know what sauces they had when I asked for it on the side. Overall would not come back here. Location needs staff to be better trained and have better cleanliness.

I ordinarily love Swiss Chalet. The food at this location was not the issue. On the other hand, the service and atmosphere completely ruined my dining experience. To begin, the table was dirty. We asked the server if it could be wiped down and she begrudgingly obliged. Next, the spoon for my partner’s coffee was completely filthy. However despite these shortcomings, I was still willing to give the server and location the benefit of the doubt as it was a busy Thanksgiving day. When my order was placed, I had asked for a side of rib sauce for my fries. When my food arrived without the sauce, I again asked for it and my partner asked for a fork to eat his meal. When she returned with the fork, I again politely asked for the sauce and she was insistent that she was retrieving it. Time went by and before I completely finished my chicken sandwich, my partner had to get up from his seat and chase down another waitress to bring over the rib sauce. When we finished eating, we flagged down our original waitress so that we could ask for a takeout container and the bill. I would have loved a refill on my drink but our waitress didn’t check on us once, and I had even asked the other waitress who brought the rib sauce for a refill but I never received it. The waitress’s demeanour was also very cold and unwelcoming and she seemed bothered to have to fulfill any request. Overall service was atrocious, location was disgusting, and I will not be returning to this restaurant any time soon. To conclude, I will say that the party at the table next to us took advantage of the waitress’s neglect and decided to dine and dash.

Our server did not repeat or clarify our order, did not check in, and showed no friendliness throughout the meal. There were no thank-yous, no smiles, only indifference. The only remark she made came at the very end, while I was paying, when she mentioned that a nearby table had just dined and dashed. The timing of the comment felt misplaced and almost like a guilt trip as the tip screen appeared.
Cleanliness was equally disappointing. The table had been wiped but was still sticky with visible residue. I asked for it to be cleaned again, which she did, but several patches of gunk remained, and I had to point them out a second time so she could scrub them properly. I have never had to do that in a restaurant before. Additionally, the spoon provided for my coffee was grimy, not just water spots, but visible buildup that could be scraped off. I set it aside and skipped stirring my coffee.
My dinner partner asked three separate times for rib sauce, when ordering, when the food arrived, and again later, but it never came. She also asked for a drink refill that was never delivered. By the halfway point of the meal, the missing sauce was clearly affecting her enjoyment. With no help coming, I was forced to handle it myself. I got up, walked to another area to find a different server, and made the request again.
The food itself was excellent, but the service, cleanliness, and overall lack of care at this location were unacceptable. Management needs to take immediate steps to address staff engagement, cleanliness, and guest experience if this restaurant is to reflect Swiss Chalet’s usual standards.
