Thai Express Restaurant Etobicoke

Google says they close at midnight. I got here at 10:35 and they were closed but I saw the lady walking around inside. Waste of time. I came here purposefully because the map said it was open.

Came for the Thursday special and came to the conclusion that this is the best Thai express location I’ve been to so far, definitely recommend and will be coming back. Amazing service, the chef was very kind and warm hearted couldn’t have asked for better service.

Ordered a pad thai and got half the ingredients noted on the menu. When asked he said well we don’t have radish and if you want I can give you green onions. Disappointed!

This place is my go to for a quick lunch. Pad Thai is the best meal. The staff is super friendly and efficient, so even when there's a line, you're not waiting long. Everything tastes fresh, and the portions are generous.

Terrible Thai Express - I went to order, used the washroom and took some napkins. The owner started yelling at me as I ended up not ordering food due to the condition of the kitchen. It looked very old and run down and didn’t feel comfortable to order food. DO not go here. They don’t have basic human respect or decency.

nothing like picture - just spent $25 on a huge plate of pasta.
There were few lobster pieces - really tiny, 3 - penny size, 4 - 1/3 of penny size
Specifically asked not to make it spicy - turned out to be so spicy, that more than half of the plate went to garbage.

I'm talking about Cloverdale Mall location; Bloor/Islington even worse

I do not recommend Thai Express. I ordered a few things, the Pad Thai with the Lobster was just OK as my wife and I were hard pressed to find any lobster pieces in it (considering the extra they charged for it versus a plain Pad Thai). The 6 chicken wings were pretty small and just plain ( no seasoning on them at all). Worst was the Mango Salad with the lettuce being all brown so inedible.
I voiced my concerns with them the day this happened (over 2 weeks ago) and they assured me they were looking into it.
I have been following up with them and received sporadic replies from them but nothing was ever done.
So, NOT RECOMMENDED as there are plenty of other choices for Thai food that other restaurants would surpass in quality, quantity and customer service.

I had a great experience at the Thai Express in Cloverdale Mall, Etobicoke. The staff were welcoming, smiling , quick, and efficient—even during busy hours. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made right in front of me. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and it was full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and portioned generously.

The kitchen area looked clean and organized, and the team clearly takes pride in their work. They were also happy to customize my dish just the way I like it, which I really appreciated. Whether you're in the mood for something spicy or more mild, they’ve got something for everyone.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re shopping in the mall or nearby. Great value and taste for the price. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is such a great location. This is pretty much my main location for thai express. The staff is welcoming and kind. I only had one problem with my order when they practically made my pad thai a soup because they over sauced it and i couldnt tell because it was in a bowl. Thank God it didnt happen again, but now i check my order before leaving and i will further on get it in the original paper box.

Very good food and my family loved it so much and I will always go to this location for food and the owner is very friendly and nice and I hope everyone will go and try it with all love for you guys ♥️ and the owner has very nice people in the store ♥️ the best food ever and I always come from Hamilton to this location because it the best place to eat♥️😍

I’ve been a loyal customer at the Thai Express in Cloverdale Mall for years now, and there’s a good reason I keep coming back, even though I live in Mississauga, I still make the drive all the way to Etobicoke just for this location. It’s that good.

My usual is the basil fried rice, not just for me, but for my whole family. We always order four meals, and every single time, the food is hot, fresh, and full of flavour. They get it right every time. It’s clear they put care into every order, and it never feels rushed or sloppy.

But honestly, it’s not just the food that keeps me coming back, it’s the people. The staff here are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. They’re welcoming, fast, and often remember me and my usual order. That personal touch really makes a difference, and it’s something you don’t find everywhere.

Between the amazing food, the consistently great service, and how easy they make the whole experience, it’s 100% worth the drive from Mississauga. If you’re thinking about trying Thai Express, make the trip to this location, you’ll see exactly why it stands out.

The express in Thai express is not present at this location. 20minutes for a fried rice. Could have driven 5minutes down the road, parked, ordered at Thai express Sherway and have the order in my hand before this location is finished.

I believe the manager's name is Ken. He was so friendly! The whole team was! I had a large order and their service was impeccable. We all loved our food. We can't wait to order from the Cloverdale Mall Thai Express again. I won't go to another location, sorry. They are the best here! Thank you :)

Dietary restrictions: They made a special serving for one of our vegetarian staff who doesn't eat eggs. That was very nice. I appreciated that so much.

Ordered green curry, tom yum fried rice and thai fried rice. All are good but I think how it is made and tastes is inconsistent when you order on different days. Ordering in the plastic bowls for a surcharge is definitely good value, I can get 2 meals out of it rather than in the paperbox takeout.
