The Cannery Kitchen and Social

Breakfasts at the Cannery Kitchen and Social are very good. My preference is to order from the menu rather than have the buffet. The traditional breakfast is the right amount of food for me.

When we arrived the parking lot was full of construction (fair) so we went to the hostess to ask where we could park. She clearly could care less and sent us to the front hotel desk. (They were helpful.) After parking we went back to the hostess stand, waited over 10 minutes for the same hostess to arrive. I should mention the restaurant was completely empty. She didn't ask about Resos or if we had anyone joining us. When we let her know we had a reso, we were shown to the back part of the restaurant and sat us right across from what I can only assume was the free continental breakfast, for the hotel guests, being packed up. Again, we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. Water and menus were dropped off and no one returned to ask about drinks or our orders so after another 10 mins or so we left. I can't comment if the food is good or otherwise, but if it matches the service and ambiance it must be terrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! There are several other places you can get brunch within a 5 km radius. I recommend trying one of them. (We ended up @moxies and although we're looking for an alternative to a chain restaurant, their service, ambience and food were A-plus)

The service was very friendly and efficient. The food was really good and the menu had a good selection. I would come here again.

This was supposed to be a valentines date with my husband and it was a very poor experience. From the jump we were never told that the kitchen and staff were backed up and food/service was going to be delayed. We were sat down at 750pm. My husband and I usually only eat a selection of appetizers so we ordered salad, nachos bruchetta, and calamari. We didn't recieeve our salad until 845pm which came out wrong (we requested no bacon) then when it reached 9pm I asked the server why things were taking so long (mind you the actual restaurant itself was not busy. We were then told "Oh nobody told you we are delayed and backed up?" I said no of course not i would have went somewhere else if that's the case. The server then came back with 2 bowls of "free soup" to hold us off until our food was ready which was absolutely disgusting and actually made us sick after the fact. We were only asked once if we would like refills on our soda which then he forgot and had to be reminded to go and get it 15 min later. We were never brought any water even after requesting it. The food that eventually came out was terrible. Calamari was soggy although we asked for well done our nachos were burnt and the bruchetta was the tiniest little pieces of bread I have ever seen. Our valentines was completely ruined and I will never return to this establishment. The staff looked stressed and annoyed to deal with anybody customers were complaining at every table asking where there food was. One couple beside us waited an hour and half for burger and fries....absolutely rediculous ...never again

Sangye was my server. She was amazing.. Very friendly best service I have had in a long time.. I asked for something not on the menu and she requested it for me..An amazing Chicken Sandwich..

Delicious vegan options and the staff was very courteous and pleasant.

There are times when the service is slow, however.

Vegetarian options: The vegan burger 🍔 and tacos 🌮 were great and so was the salad 🥗.

Service was great and a very nice atmosphere. The feta bruschetta had very little whipped feta (but still tasted incredible yummy) and the steak was just okay.

We ordered seafood linguini and butter chicken for lunch all the dishes were great ! Ginny was great amazing service, Definitely recommend!

Love their food and pretty nice atmosphere, server Josie was very nice and professional, will certainly visit again next stay at Crowne Plaza Toronto airport.
