I was not happy with my order. It was a Veal Parmesan. It was burnt, the noodles overcooked, sauce had no taste and dry, was not good at all.
Do not recommend.

We were there last weekend - 3 of us (August 2025) and we ordered the eggs Benedict for brunch. The hollandaise sauce barely had any taste. And the roasted potatoes were saturated with paprika and other spices. We were disappointed. I politely provided feedback to the Chef, but he blamed the supplier rather than taking any responsibility. Adding a bit of salt to the hollandaise would do the job. Don’t know if he tastes the food before it goes out… We’ve tried The Olive a few times since the Dundas West Grill closed down but moving forward we are looking for another restaurant.

Two waitresses. The one with the glasses worked every table. The other one, (long hair in ponytail), barely moved let alone serve anyone.

I get the big breakfast with a side of French toast. It's one of the best price to quantity ratio I can think of. Great portion at a low price. The service is good and food comes out really fast. You honestly can't beat it.

Had the breakfast here and it was amazing! You could taste the seasoning in the sausage, and the home fries were actually fried potatoes and not the deep fried cubes. The over easy eggs were so perfect that I couldn't help but say Mmmmm after every bite.
The waitstaff was very attentive and the food came out quick.
I think I have found my new breakfast spot!!!

Place is great. Servers are all really good and always happy. Place is super clean. Your food comes out quick and super hot. Has a great variety for a small place

Have been coming to the Olive restaurant out of convenience for some time with the family. The service is fantastic, and the overall feel of the place gives classic diner vibes, but the food itself is definitely not the attraction. Their hollandaise is gloopy and under-seasoned, proteins are often overcooked/dry, and the homefries are mushy and bland by a matter of course. All of that said, the prices are more than fair, the food comes out quick/hot and they cook your eggs the way you ask.
Grateful it's here, although there is room for improvement.
