Disappointing experience. I asked for an extra cup to pour milk for my 2 year old, and the attendant repeatedly refused, despite having ordered multiple items including the milk and requesting I be charged for the extra cup. The interaction was unnecessarily difficult, and the attitude came across as rude and dismissive, with an insensitive smirk and little effort to be helpful. The attendant’s description aligns with the female employee mentioned in other reviews. Costs have definitely been cut when it comes to hiring good service.
Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and assisted right away. I will be going to Second Cup next time.

I went to the Timmie’s in the food court of sherway gardens around 10am. I asked to buy a carton of 2% milk for my child. She’s 2, and it’s important she drinks her milk and gets calcium. Especially if she’s eating breakfast.
The manager of this location Rafael, told me they don’t have any cartons of milk on hand to sell. They had to order some. I asked to buy a cup of 2% milk, as clearly Timmie’s has milk on hand when they’re making coffee all day. Rafael explained he cannot sell me a cup of milk.
I said why not? If I purchase a cup of coffee and ask for my milk on the side, is that not the same thing logically? He said he can’t and refused to let me pay even for a more expensive drink, solely so I could get milk for my daughter.
I have done this before at the Tim Hortons on lakeshore, and countless other locations in Mississauga, especially when they’re the ones out of stock for carton milk.
If you don’t have a product to give me to buy you should be able to offer me an alternative solution as a consumer, especially when I am willing to pay.
Next, I asked Rafael for his managers information which he rudely told me he was not able to give me, a phone number or email, to contact. I would have to Google her name. Stella Wang.
After googling and finding nothing for store 23, I went back and asked again, when another associate told me I could possibly find Stella at the Tim Hortons on the ground floor of Sherway.
I went downstairs and sure enough, Stella was downstairs. Rafael was rude and incompetent and unwilling to resolve my issue let alone provide me his managers information so I could at the very least discuss this with her.
All of this is because someone refused to charge me even $5, for a cup of MILK for my child. I find this humanely disgusting and ridiculous.
If my child was starving or thirsty, I can’t give them milk? Seriously? There isn’t a button available at Tim Hortons in 2026, that allows a customer to buy ONE small cup of milk? I spoke to Stella and explained my experience with Rafael upstairs who
clearly called and spoke to her before I made it downstairs because she wasn’t at all concerned with my issue.
She googled herself a Tim Hortons 1-800 number for me to call because she said there was nothing she could do & also refused to give me a cup of milk for a price.
All this to say, after 30 minutes of talking to people asking to pay for some milk for my two year old on principle & getting no where.
We walked to the second cup, around the corner in sherway, where they not only gave me a cup of milk but they asked me what kind of milk my daughter can drink, and the manager said they would cover the cost, even with my willing to pay. I insisted and paid for my cup of milk. But just goes to show the kind of people you have working at your establishments who at the very least are not willing to come up with a solution let alone help another human being just try to feed their kid.
Numerous times I explained I would pay for the cup the milk or a more expensive drink, logically speaking if I wanted a coffee half the cup would be MILK. That’s how I take my coffee.
I think this is absurd and have reached out to head office because I think based on logic alone this makes no sense. At the very least these 2 locations should have had carton 2% milk in stock and available not tell me theirs expired and they didn’t order any more.

Very poor experience at this Tim Hortons location.
I ordered at 4:55 PM on Dec 24 and waited over 25 minutes, even though my name appeared first on the screen. During this time, more than 7 customers who ordered after me were served first. The delay happened because two staff members working the line responsible to make orders were busy chatting instead of preparing orders. (indian background)
When I asked about my order, one of them tried to hand me someone else’s cold order. Only after I questioned it did another employee bring my actual order receipt, clearly showing it had been forgotten. When I asked for the right order, the staff member was rude, refused to give her name, and also refused to share the manager’s name as I wanted to speak with them.
I want to clarify and apologize if mentioning background feels uncomfortable I would not have done so if the staff had identified themselves. I come from Indian background myself. This is not about ethnicity, but professionalism and accountability. The issue was specifically with those two staff members on the line; other employees were polite and helpful.
If customers are expected to wait 25-30 minutes, that should be communicated. Management should review camera footage, as even other customers noticed how long I was waiting. Very disappointing service.
This experience is honestly why I usually avoid eating at Tim Hortons and unfortunately, this visit reinforced that decision. I hope this location focuses on better training, professionalism, and customer service going forward.

I visited the Sherway Tim Hortons location this morning at 9:00 AM, expecting to easily purchase a coffee and a toasted bagel—standard breakfast fare. To my astonishment, I was informed by staff that they could not serve any warm food or items that required preparation (like a toasted bagel).
The reason given was completely unacceptable: they were apparently preparing for an event scheduled for the following day.
This is unacceptable for a busy, full-service quick-service restaurant during peak hours.
Fundamental Service Failure: A major Tim Hortons location should not be shutting down its core food service at 9:00 AM on a typical business day. A store's primary function is to serve its customers the advertised menu items.
Poor Planning: The decision to sacrifice an entire day's worth of business and disappoint countless customers to prep for a future event demonstrates extremely poor management and operational planning.
Customer Disregard: This restriction forced me to leave and seek my breakfast elsewhere, which is a major inconvenience.
I was able to purchase my coffee, but the refusal to serve a simple toasted bagel effectively curtailed my breakfast plans. I urge management to investigate this operational choice. Regular customer service and the full availability of the standard menu must take precedence over future event preparation during advertised business hours especially during a busy holiday season.

The owner of this place her name is stella, she was very rude and unprofessional to me. How could she manage a restaurant when she cant even manage her attitude and emotions. Never ordering from this location again.

I attended here this morning and ordered one of their bagels. I asked if they would please scoop out the bread from the bagel (carb conscious). The attendant was confused and didn’t know what I meant. I explained it to her but she still didn’t seem to understand I repeated the explanation and offered to help. Next thing I know, her co-worker accused’s me of being aggressive and that they were trying to help me, that it’s not something that they do.
Great customer service.

I recently visited this location for a quick lunch another day. The customer service person was really polite, I think her name was Lika or Lyka. I ordered the flat bread pizza and an ice capp and both were made to perfection. Definitely will visit this location every time even if its little far from my home. Cheers

I visited the Tim Hortons in Sherway and had such a great experience! I ordered a medium mocha iced capp, potato wedges, and some birthday cake Timbits. Even though it was quite busy, the staff managed to get all my orders ready on time and everything tasted perfect — the same original flavours I love.
A special shoutout to my cashier, Kat — she was super friendly and approachable! She greeted every customer with a big, contagious smile that instantly brightened the atmosphere. I wasn’t sure which Timbits to get, but Kat recommended the birthday cake ones, and I’m so glad she did — they were absolutely delicious.
Great service, great food, and great vibes. Definitely one of the best Tim Hortons experiences I’ve had!
