Fun flavour options. Good icecream. Cash only!

I pass by Tom’s Dairy Freeze often during my runs but never had cash on me to stop. One day after a long run, I finally planned ahead, carried some cash, and went with friends.

I tried their banana split and also got a chocolate-dipped cone with peanuts – both were such a treat, especially after a run. The portions are generous, the ice cream is rich, and the toppings really make it feel special.

It’s cash only, so make sure to plan ahead, but honestly, the experience was worth it. A lovely spot to reward yourself a nd hang out with friends after a busy day!

The ice cream is so good and not watered down like others, and the people are nice. I love going there.

Best soft serve in Toronto

Paid extra for sprinkles and this is how many sprinkles were on the cone. I have come here for years and was very surprised, when I asked the worker they said that's how many sprinkles they give now ... I would not recommend.

For cash only you'd think they'd exclude tax in the price. Soft serve dipped cone isn't worth the hype.

Best ice cream in the area!
As their slogan says: it's icecream not icemilk.

Visited Tom’s Dairy Freeze over the long weekend and, I had the butterscotch-dipped cone, the banana split. The butterscotch dip tasted a little artificial, but the vanilla ice cream inside was unbelievably good, so creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. The banana split was the standout though? fresh, sweet, and absolutely delicious.

Service was quick and friendly, even with the long lines. Parking is very limited, and on weekends you can expect to wait about 20–30 minutes, but it’s totally worth it once you finally get your ice cream. Just remember, they’re cash-only, so come prepared. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the generous portions.

Overall, Tom’s Dairy Freeze is a must-visit for ice cream lovers. I’d happily go back, especially for the banana split and that incredible vanilla ice cream.
