We had a private dinner served to us by the 2 partners of Tulsi. They came to Vinnie and Rebecca’s beautiful yard and gave us a cooking experience we will all never forget. They cooked up some speciality meals that were perfect. Chicken, fresh vegetables from the gardens, very spicy mushrooms and of course nam . Everything was perfect! Please go to Tulsi and tell them we sent you!!

The best Gujarati food that I have ever had, I am a line cook myself at a seafood restaurant in North York , but this placr is a gem, the recipes are authentic and delicious .

Tulsi Indian Restaurant is fantastic for authentic Kathiyavadi cuisine! The Kathiyavadi dishes and Vagharelo Rotla are especially delicious—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Great place for anyone looking for traditional Indian home-style meals. Highly recommended!

Great place to enjoy authentic Gujarati food. The food quality is exceptional and unlike other Indian restaurants in GTA, all dishes have a unique “homely touch” which makes your meal much more enjoyable and healthy. Although the place is a bit small, the service is really prompt and efficient. Must try Indian restaurant if you are in and around North York / Etobicoke region.

I celebrated my birthday dinner at Tulsi Indian Cuisine – Kathiyawadi Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience 🎉✨. They also have a lovely outdoor patio 🌿, perfect for a relaxed evening.

Here’s what we tried:

Highlights – absolutely loved:
🔥 Vagharelo Rotlo – hot and delicious
🥜 Kaju Gathiya – one of the best I’ve had
🥔 Lasaniya Bataka – spicy and full of flavor
🍅 Sev Tameta – tasty and comforting

Also good, minor suggestion:
🍆 Ringan Bhartu – flavorful, slightly tangy
🍲 Rajwadi Khichdi – very good, would be perfect if served hotter

Every dish was fresh, authentic, and felt homemade 😋.

Since it’s a family-run restaurant ❤️, they manage everything themselves, which is admirable. Having someone dedicated to serving could make the dining experience even smoother.

Overall, a delicious Kathiyawadi food experience I’d happily recommend ✅

Extremely disappointed with food here. The taste was terrible, and the quality and hygiene were far below basic standards. It’s hard to believe the positive reviews are genuine — my experience was completely the opposite. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic or decent indian food.

I ordered khichdi a few days ago and it was just as good as it should be – comforting, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Today, I tried the thali and it was equally impressive. The food quality is consistent and genuinely satisfying. You’re doing a great job – I really hope the chef is being paid well because they truly deserve it!
