My friend Morenike in Hamilton gave me her food to share with my kids and I can't have enough of her food. I cook but her food is the best I have ever tasted. The jollof rice is top-notch, turkey and fish? Excellent. Village kitchen will burst your UMAMI to the power of 10. I can't wait to order and order and order. She is a TALENTED COOK.
The food was so delicious, the jollof rice reminds me of the naija party jollof, the efo riro nko? Oh my gosh. To cap it all, the foods were delivered prior to the agreed time. Village Kitchen all the way ????????
The jollof rice had that perfect smoky flavor with well-cooked grains that weren’t mushy. The Ayamase pepper sauce was rich, spicy, and packed with flavor - the meat was incredibly tender.
Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented.
