There may have been a change in management as the food quality has dropped from the previous times we’ve ordered from this place.

The chicken in chilli chicken was very hard. Vermicelli noodles were used instead of glass noodles and it had more Hakka flavours than Thai. Jasmine rice was used for fried rice and it wasn’t flavourful.

We want to support local businesses so hope management uses this critique to better the food. Please don’t use left over chicken and vegetables as it makes the texture very hard to chew.

We have been fans of Vintage Thai for quite some time but something has changed. Two orders ago, they got my order wrong, that was understandable, it was Pad Thai, I ate it and it was good. Last order my meal of Curry Pad Thai which I usually order was very different tasting, I threw out most of it. Last night, I thought I'd have some Pad Thai and ordered through Go Snappy. After waiting for delivery for one hour, my husband phoned and was told the order had left 40 minutes previously (we live 10 minutes from the restaurant) and it should be there soon. About 25 minutes later, no food so hubby phoned again. The woman said she'd call us back which she did another 10 minutes later and said the driver would be there in 8 more minutes, and he was. He pulled our order out from the back seat of his car where I could see other orders sitting. In total, we waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for our food and when we got it, of course it was cold!! I threw out most of it, it definitely didn't taste very good. I feel sorry for the people who still had their orders sitting in the back of his car. We will now be looking for a new Thai restaurant!

Stale peanuts, they don't care so they'll probably continue to be stale and they won't comp or change your meal even if you don't eat it because of said stale peanuts. Still good pad Thai just don't use the peanuts. Also weird vibes super off

I wandered in for the first time, just hungry and looking for Thai food. Chatted the server and the chef a bit and decided on Ginger Chicken. Solid meal... AND THEN accepted an 'upsell' of sticky rice on the side. Which came with this amazing peanut sauce. The sauce was the surprise MVP.

If I'm in the area again, I'll come back.

I get the green curry once in a while and used to love it, but recently something has changed because it is nothing like what I'm used to. Thick in texture and had a whole bunch of dry red pepper flakes dumped on it instead of the curry itself being spicy. Disappointed and will need to find a new place to satisfy my green curry cravings.

Order pad Thai to go
With shrip and chicken
I received 2 shrimps and 6 shredded pieces of chicken not to mention 100 over sized cubes of tofu..
The texture was lacking as it was overly tangy unbearable to even enjoy
Package of side penut was non existing nor hot sauce
Def avoid this place unless you want to get dissapointed

Friendly enough staff and nice enough decor. But the food will leave you wanting more. It's just not anywhere near authentic Thai food. Highly recommend you skip the Pad Thai. Was terrible for $20.

We Just finished our take out from Vintage Thai. We ordered basil beef, basil chicken, Malay chicken roll and cold spring rolls. Thai flavour was somewhat there. It definitely didn’t taste authentic. The owner(s) maybe learned Thai recipe, but it needs improvement. The cold spring roll was a bit sloppy. It wasn’t fresh, it’s pre-made, veggies in it looked old…lettuce wasn’t green it was yellow. The beef in the basil beef dish had a pungent smell. The ingredients were “Vintage”…very vintage…lol!!! I’m NOT going to say “I DO NOT RECOMMEND” this Thai resto….But what I’m going to say is….

I highly recommend that you try it for yourself (cuz maybe I’m wrong…) taste it and then compare it to other in the area local Thai Resto i.e. Bua Thai…they both have similar price point.

I just think this resto should bring up their game. Add some TLC in each recipe. Use fresh ingredients….oh and one last thing for the owners…easy on the Thai relics it’s way too much it looks very “imposter” like. Even authentic Thai restos owned and operated by Thai people do not have that much…

Ordered chicken basil stir fry and spicy noodles.
Stir fry does not come with rice and they don’t seem to mention that anywhere when ordering. Chicken was dry and yet both dishes had so much excess oil. Better off going to chiang mai near by.

This is a small neighbourhood joint, with decent service and good food selection. Will go again and try more options on their menu, you can’t try everything the very first time!! We ordered Pad Kee Mao (Thai Spicy Noodles), mango salad, calamari and crispy beef. Both pad kee mao and calamari were really good. Crispy beef was sweet for my friend’s taste, loved the crispy texture. Our server mentioned later that crispy beef is customizable to reduce the sweetness. Something to keep in my next time we visit.

Didn't expect the Mango Sticky Rice would look like this. I was expecting to be served with white glutinous rice and real slices of mangoes with cashews.
