Called the place to make a reservation and was advised that they are now closed, yet its still showing that the restaurant is open here on google. Strange, just be weary if you are getting a price fixed meal on a 3rd party site just to be told that the restaurant doesn't exist subsequent to that. Yikes.

We celebrated our anniversary at Volare Ristorante this year.Perhaps because it was just after Family Day, the restaurant was quite empty. We enjoyed a four-course dinner. My husband ordered a beer I've never seen before, and he was really enjoying it.The food was delicious, but I think it might be a bit on the smaller side. Both the veal and fettuccine were delicious, and the appetizers, seafood crepe and escargot, were also tasty. If you go to Italian restaurants, it has to be tiramisu, right? We chose cheesecake and tiramisu, and both were delicious. The cheesecake was about three times more than Tiramisu but I liked Tiramisu more! It was so delicious. It's a small, cozy restaurant and atmosphere is really nice. By the window, there's a cheap supermarket, No Frills, right in front. They had it covered with shades, but the atmosphere could feel a bit disappointing if you're sitting there during summer on the patio.Parking: Lots of street parking and Green P. After 6pm on weekday is free parking.

Went there with Groupon coupon on Thursday around 5:30pm. We are the only customer for the whole time. The food are only so so, nothing worth praising at all. BUT the big problem that make me wanting to write a review is cockroaches. We saw a cockroach crawling on the wall next to our table. It disappeared from sight when it goes behind a wall decorations. Few minutes later, we saw one crawling on our table surface. At that point, I had enough and call the server over. She came over to our table and catch the cockroach with a cloth. No apologies, no discount, no moving us to another table in the empty restaurant...not even changing our table cloth that the cockroach crawled on. We will not be back for sure.

I have kids and this night was an opportunity to spend some child free time with my sister.I was not impressed with the service. The main course was alright. The ceaser salad was pale and nothing to rave about.I wouldn't be surprised if the cheesecake dessert was from the No Frills across the street...Bought a Groupon deal without first reading the reviews. The one star reviews are a true description of the low quality service at this establishment.I will refrain from detailing my experience as so many others have shared what I feel to be true.I was in good company with my dining companion. We make the best of any situation. And have stories to share about the poor service. And one last thing...they had the audacity to include the tip on the machine! The tip they do need are tips for improvement. I'll try walk with a pen and post its IF I return. My recommendation is - diner be prepared.

The restaurant was found through a Groupon deal. It's been a while since my sister and I dined, and the deal looked great. 2 can dine for $49 (four courses fixed menu)The restaurant looks lovely. Small and intimate. Great for a private function. The smell from the kitchen was inviting, and the washrooms downstairs were clean and quaint. We are unsure if it's because we were Groupon customers, but the service from the server was awful. It's not worth a tip, except for the following tips.- Don't tell your customers they should eat their vegetables when they ask you to remove mushrooms. They could be allergic...- It is customary to offer your customers a glass of water when they arrive. We were not given this or asked.- Put the tomatoes on all pieces of the bread; if you say you are offering bruschetta- when the customer says hair is in her food and shows you the hair. Apologize on behalf of the chef instead of telling the customer the chef is bald. The food returned too quickly, so I'm not sure they made me a new plate; they probably just removed the hair from the potato.- Chef, next time, cook the potatoes, please. They were crunchy in some areas- hot water with lemon should be in a mug and not in a glass. It's hot water; I could burn my hand holding the glass.- don't arbitrarily add a $10.00 tip to the machine. Tips are up to the consumer unless it's a large party and you have informed the party about the gratuity.Wheelchair accessibility: The washrooms are not wheelchair accessible.

The day I went here it was completely empty, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves (to be fair it was a Wednesday night 1.5h before closing). However, this had me questioning how good the food would be (they didn't fail to prove me dead wrong real soon) We were greeted by a lovely hostess, she was absolutely amazing!! After some wine the food started rolling in.I got a Groupon deal for a 4 course meal (see the photos for the menu). The bruschetta was good! Nothing too crazy but a nice staple. However the appetizers had me reckoning all my previous thoughts. I had the seafood crepe and my guest had the cease salad. Both were absolutely amazing!!! I was taken aback by how flavourful the food was. Next the mains had me on the floor. If a piece fell on the floor I would of been licking it up. We got the fettuccine and basa, both were made to absolute perfection!I honestly do not know how this restaurant was empty, it should have lines out the door!!!Definitely coming back, this spot is a GEM!

Lovely atmosphere. We dined early in the evening ahead of the crowd. The salmon and mushroom fettuccini was creamy and delicately flavoured. Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.

We purchased a groupon for 2 and went on a Friday night. The restaurant was not busy, 1 table with 2 and another with 6. We were seated and when I mentioned to the hostess that we had a groupon her mood definitely changed. The bruschetta was 2 pieces of rye bread, 1 with diced tomatoes and the other plain with butter. My seafood crepe was cool in the middle and my wife's caesar salad was just romaine lettuce with a dusting of dressing, I would have asked for more dressing but the waiter disappeared and we didn't see him again. I had the veal parmigiana and my wife had the fettucine with chicken. The veal was the smallest piece of meat I have ever had and the dish was accompanied by 2 small overcooked potatoes and some under grilled veggies. I was surprised because normally I would expect pasta. My wife's fettucine was very bland and the noodles way overcooked. I hate to think that the restaurant serves different meal portions to people who have the coupon but that certainly was the impression I had There is no way in the world that I would have been happy paying regular price for what I was served I will give them another try because I bought 2 groupons. They will not stay in business very long if that is how they operate
