We stopped in on our way through Etobicoke wanting some breakfast. I'd give a 2.5 if I could. The good: bacon made fresh, and like, no shortage of bacon, probably raised my blood pressure that day but NO REGRET the bacon was great. I liked the vintage diner decor too. Dated but charming. The great: the coffee was... so much better than I expected. Really good for diner coffee. It had "tasting notes". The donut I had was delicious, really a peak donut, although I was unable to finish it due to it having surprise nuts in it. This was my bad, I should have asked, I just don't usually expect to find nuts in a donut. I would definitely recommend the donuts to someone without nut allergies. Fresh and delicious. The bad: I could not find a bathroom, we ended up going to Subway afterwards. Some other reviewers mentioned a bathroom, so I think it must have been the door that was blocked off by a potted plant. The single staff member was barely paying attention to anything so I was unable to ask. My toast was not evenly buttered and the butter was not melted. No salt and pepper on the tables, so I couldn't add seasoning to the plain eggs. Since the cook vanished into the back once we had our plates, I wasn't able to ask where to get pepper either. Maybe it's normally on the tables and they were just being refilled? The ugly: One of the menu items we ordered was a BLT. We were served a "B". We were in a hurry so we chose to not bring this massive oversight up, but... THERE ARE THREE INGREDIENTS IN A BLT, NOT ONE! Granted we got the one that we would least like to be forgotten, and there was a ton of bacon, a lover of bacon would not be disappointed, but where was the lettuce! Where was the tomato! How did the cook mess this up? WE DON'T KNOW. How do you put only bacon in a BLT! I doubt this is normal for the place... but HOW! I know we should have taken a picture, but there wasn't a single tiny bit of vegetable in that BLT, only condiment and bacon.Prices are right. Coffee was good. I would definitely drop in for a coffee and donut (assuming not all have nuts) but frankly after my food experience I would just make bacon and eggs and a BLT at home.Truly a classic diner experience.

I just found my new favorite place for breakfast! They have a variety of options to choose from and the food isn't greasy. Personally, I enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. As a bonus, you can grab one of their donuts as a snack too.

This place is a west mall classic. Its not a fancy yuppie breakfast/brunch spot. Rather, a real local diner, serving real and reasonably priced food to the working class. Many a time where the owner lady would bless my friends and I bagels and coffee when we had no $ as kids. Holds a dear place in my heart and to many others in the area aswell. West Mall Donuts !!!

I had an omelete breakfast with brown toast and french fries. It was perfectly made with limited oil, and it tastes really good.

I've gone here for years and am glad they are still around in 2023. When coming home from a long -drive, being too tired to cook, they are open late and have great platters. They have more and some-day I hope to try other offerings than near midnight ones.

I grew up eating the donuts and danishes here, and they've always been great. I recommend the apple danish paired with a cup of tea and a good book for a lovely afternoon! The food, however, does not hold such a special place in my heart. It is decent (I like the egg and cheese sandwich), but it is definitely food that one can make at home. I'm not complaining, though! It was good. The prices have gone up over the years, which I understand. It seems like there is nowhere for broke students to eat anymore, ha. The staff is super kind and friendly!! There is also a good tea selection. Definitely worth a visit for a danish and a cup of tea.

Ideally I'd like to give this a 3.5.The food here is basic and things you can easily make at home, but it's not bad. The restaurant is conveniently open late, in case you're in the area and need a quick bite. The club sandwich was actually great, but the chicken nuggets were just okay, and the fries were poor. The service is really good but the interior needs a refresh. The washroom downstairs is a different story altogether.

Mostly fine place, just avoid the cheesesteak, as it is just some chopped meat on a hot dog bun with no cheese.
