I had two sandwiches yesterday. The service was excellent, I liked the variety available, the patio was clean and had a good view, and the food didn't take long to be served. I had two sandwiches and a poutine, and it wasn't heavy (low in fat), so I was very satisfied.
We used to go to Woodys once or twice a week. was on a first name basis with the staff. They would let you add toppings, give you chipotle mayo, or smoky ketchup.for fries. Gone downhill, Meat not as good, fries overcooked. nothing special about it anymore. sad. we used to love it
In my humble opinion, Woody's makes one of the best burgers in Toronto. Today I enjoyed one of there special burgers, the coronary, with a small fries and gravy. The weather was so nice I eat it on their patio.
