Yellow Cup Cafe catered our post-event reception for a few dozen attendees. We ordered mixed platters of wraps and sandwiches, plus a veggie tray, a fruit tray and a wide selection of sweets. The delivery was punctual, and the presentation, assortment, freshness, portion generosity and quality of the food was simply outstanding in all respects. Very highly recommend.
Favorite little coffee joint!

I remember years ago I came here all the time for the crepes, waffles, and desserts with me and my whole family. Once I invited friends, and they invited their friends, and it was our favourite cafe. Now I came after years and I ordered a Nutella crepe. They’re now gooey and inedible for me. Today, I came again to have the waffles, and I was shocked. I got a waffle with kinder chocolate and whipped cream, it tasted like it was made with pancake mix you can buy at the grocery store (that high sodium stuff), the kinder chocolates were in huge chunks on top that were very hard to eat. I don’t know how I was supposed to eat this without struggling. While the atmosphere is great, I wouldn’t recommend it for the food. People who used to come here before can taste the difference. The quality has dropped drastically. It doesn’t taste like a homemade style meal. I can practically call it fast food. Me and my friends won’t be returning.

I really liked their rocky road cappuccino. Overall good experience. I believe when it comes to food specially chicken they can improvise more on it.

Sure, ProWe had a great experience at Yellow Cup Cafe in Etobicoke. The vibe of the place is really nice, relaxed, cozy, and perfect for a casual breakfast or a quiet coffee break. There’s a good variety of breakfast selections, so it’s easy to find something whether you want something sweet or more filling.
We ordered a Nutella crepe, turmeric tea, and a latte, and everything was fresh and delicious. The crepe was nicely made and not too heavy, and both drinks were prepared really well. What really stood out for us was how friendly and welcoming the waiters were. They were kind, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in.
Overall, it’s a lovely neighborhood cafe with great service and a good menu. I’d definitely recommend Yellow Cup Cafe to anyone in the Etobicoke area looking for a nice spot for breakfast or coffee, and we’ll for sure be coming back again.

Even though there was a customer right in front of the cashier, the staff avoided eye contact and showed no interest in working.
The table was dirty with crumbs from the previous customer. It's shame that they can't clean the table unless asked by the customer. By the way, there were only about 30% customers, so it wasn't a busy time.
It's unfortunate that such a bad impression was created because of just two staff members, as it is a popular restaurant.

The biggest drawback of this place is how the customer service is managed. Upon arrival, the experience felt chaotic with no clear system in place. There are no reservations, no host to guide guests, and customers are expected to find their own seating and place orders independently. While I understand the concept of first-come first-served dining, it can be difficult to navigate especially during peak hours. As first-time diners, the atmosphere felt tense, with guests competing for tables and little to no assistance from staff during the process.
However, the food makes up for the initial frustration. Everything we ordered was excellent and came within a decent time frame. My friend and I shared a grilled cheese sandwich, an omelette with three toppings and toast, a lox cream cheese sandwich, a beautifully crafted cappuccino, and we ended the visit with their house-made ice cream. Each item was well prepared and enjoyable.
If you plan to visit, go after 2:00 PM. Once the rush slows down, the atmosphere improves significantly and the experience becomes much more pleasant.
