“Never knew this place existed--found it on the web. I had the Yummy Burger, Fries, and Onion Rings. The Yummy Burger is absolutely the best burger in town. I love the flavours of all the toppings. The fries and onion rings are also very good. Can't wait to try some of their other food items as well.”

This year, I celebrated my birthday at La Plouc Crêpes et Café (318Spruce St #103, Waterloo, ON N2L 3M7, Canada). A charming European style café that brings the taste of France to a tiny corner of Waterloo, La Plouc is one of the several eateries that help me feel closer to home.This time around, I ordered a classic sweet combo - the Fraise Chantilly Crêpe (transl. crêpes topped with strawberry and whipped cream) and the Chocolat Chaud (transl. hot chocolate). The skilled crêpe artisan expertly poured a thin batter onto the hot griddle, swirling it into a perfect circle. As the crepe cooked to golden perfection, they generously filled it with a velvety whipped cream, while the sweet aroma of strawberries blended with the light, delicate texture of the freshly made crepe. The rich, indulgent Chocolate Chaud arrived in a steaming mug, an indulgent blend of dark cocoa and warm milk creating a heavenly complement to the delicate fraise chantilly crepe.However, the highlight of the meal was the wonderful server who served a complimentary Café Glacé as my birthday present. An utter work of art, the robust coffee flavour danced with the smoothy icy flavour, creating a frosty masterpiece! “I visited the place with my friends on other day. I went there with normal expectations BUT I must say it was the right decision. They have many options in various categories of non-conventional food. The delicacies were reasonably priced and tasty. The owner is friendly and helped with choices. Last but not the least, it remains open till late night so no more hunting for food. Overall the pleasant visit and would recommend this eatery for great taste and easy on pocket. Cheers.”

“Our whole family gathered on Saturday, 25 strong to celebrate our parents lives. Thank you Millie for great service and a big thank you to the kitchen, Andy and staff , for a fantastic meal. Kids loved the saganaki and the adults all raved about the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich and of course the souvlaki. Been a regular here for a number of years and have enjoyed every meal. “Been to Gladiator 3 times now and each time has consistently been amazing. I'll always get a Gladiator burger because it's a double patty with beef bacon and cheese. The burger taste, size, and seasoning are perfect for me. My wife is not a burger fan and she LOVES this place. The service is always very friendly and accommodating as well despite it being a "fast food" place. The only con is the parking, but we always park on Balsam street and walk over, which is only like a 3-5 minute walk. Other reviewers commenting about ventilation are correct - you will smell after dining in, but I'm here for the food and not the atmosphere!Overall, I would say this is the most affordable and best tasting burger place in town!Parking: Always park on Balsam street which is free for 3 hours”

“Went to Elora over Easter long weekend. Stopped by this ice cream shop as we saw a line outside haha. It is very crowded during the weekend. However the staff are nice that they still allow tester before purchasing ice cream. I had coconut & espresso ice cream, both are SO GOOD! Highly recommend coconut especially!”

Especially after visiting the market. It's very conveniently located nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs. Easy to remove a chair from a table to make room for a wheelchair.
