One and done for me with this place. My wife and I went in on a Saturday for the first time to check it out. When we went up to the person at the cash to order we were greeted with "Hey"...and nothing else. Ok...
She said nothing else to us and didn't even look up the rest of the time, she just took the coffee we were buying and didn't even acknowledge us as she scanned it.
Then when it came time for payment she turns a screen towards us with preset tips and no ability to choose your own; you either pay one of the presets or choose no tip at all - super scammy. I guess I should tip 15% or more for "Hey" to someone who doesn't even treat me like a human being, that's exemplary service which deserves a tip. /s
That shows a lack of respect for the customer since they obviously set it up that way on purpose.
Between the lack of service and scammy vibe I won't be going back.
My wife & I stopped in on Saturday for a latte & a dessert while in Fonthill. The Font was a wonderful little cafe with good coffee and delicious baked goods. The service was friendly and speedy. We loved the modern decor and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely return for another visit! ☕️🧁😃

Cute little coffee shop! Kind of hidden in the corner of the plaza. Iced coffee was really good. Seasonal flavours are available. Really enjoyed some of the pastries too. It is a bit on the expensive side, but great for a treat.

My partner and I visited this location yesterday around 11:45am. It was not busy, no line and I was excited to try the apple pie almond croissant.
We stood at the counter for 2 minutes looking at the baked goods and menu, after which I looked up for the servers expecting one to acknowledge us or say hello. Both servers were close by and one was directly in front of me.
Unfortunately, we were not greeted, or acknowledged at all.
I frequent coffee shops in the Niagara region weekly and was genuinely excited to try this location! I enjoy the friendly interactions I have with baristas at other shops.
However, after not being greeted or acknowledged within 2 minutes of entering the store, despite the worker being directly in front of us, I was taken aback and decided I did not feel comfortable spending my money here.
This is especially disappointing as I previously worked in customer service positions for years and know the importance of acknowledging a customer as soon as they enter your eyesight.
I was so excited to try coffee and a pastry from another coffee shop, however I will just continue to go to Black Sheep coffee roasters as usual.
I’ve seen at least 2 similar reviews saying no acknowledgement from staff, both somewhat recent reviews, with no response from the owner/business.
Hopefully this issue can get resolved as this experience was enough for me to not feel comfortable or welcome being in this establishment.

I got a vanilla latte and spent 7 dollars, and it’s incredibly small, about the size of a Tim Hortons small coffee. It tasted okay, but not worth the 7 dollars. As well, the staff wasn’t particularly friendly, not particularly rude or anything, just not very welcoming. Not really worth it.
I will say that it is a cute place though, lots of plants around and cute lights

Love this place! Drove in from Niagara Falls to try it as we had never been before. Coffee was great, food was delicious, staff were incredibly nice and the atmosphere was cool. Will definitely be coming back!
This review is more a comment about my experience, than the actual drink orders. My husband and I arrived 2min before our reservation time (11:30am) and I went up to one of the staff to check in. She asked me if I had a reservation, I said yes and she pointed towards the table set up with the reservation sign and told me to have a seat. I tried to confirm the name on the reservation but the staff member said, no to worry and that she knew who I was.A few minutes later, I asked my husband to tell the barista if she can make the speciality flight decaf as I was pregnant and had forgotten to make that note when booking the reservation. He returned and said that it was not a problem.10min after, the barista came over with the drinks. She brought what looked like 2 of the same kind of flights. I asked the barista what she had made and she said they were 2 orders of the “Valentine flight” with one being decaf.I told the barista this was not my order. She double checked and said that the reservation booking indicates 2 orders of the Valentine’s flight. I then took out my phone and showed the barista the reservation booking and it clearly showed my order as the “specialty flight” and the “learners permit flight”. Barista then re-checked and apologized. She admitted she made the drink order for the 11am reservation. I asked the barista if she will be making our actual drink order. She told us it would be better to just keep the Valentine’s flights, it’s worth more than the other flights and some of the drinks were similar to the specialty flight.I honestly did not want 2 Valentine’s flight. I specifically ordered the two other different flights so that my husband and I could have variety. Also, the Valentine flight had the Lavender latte and I have a bad reaction to lavender. The barista did not seem very willing to correct our order and I did not want to make a big deal about the confusion, so I asked the barista if she could at least replace one of the lavender lattes for myself, with a different drink. The barista said they don’t really do substitutions. I explained to her that I do not react well to lavender and that is the reason why I had ordered the other flights in the first place. The barista still seemed unwilling to accommodate my request and after an awkward silence and looks between my husband and I, the barista then changed her mind and said never mind it’s ok, she can replace the drink. After that, I could not 100% enjoy my experience. I felt like I was being pushed to drink something I did not order, even though it was not my mistake. This was our last stop at the end of our weekend baby-moon getaway. Because I felt very uncomfortable being there, I rushed through the flight and did not get to truly appreciate the drinks. My husband said most of the drinks tasted like there was a powdery texture. After we left, I thought about how none of the staff asked for my name when checking in or confirmed the booking before the drinks were made.

Food was quite good, took a little longer than it should have. Mixed up the latte with simple syrup with the cappuccino so we switched, no big deal but still..$50 for a couple sandwiches and drinks.
