“Visited this location in the summer and was not impressed with the cleanliness or the service quality that you’d expect from Pita Pit. Heard there was an ownership change after seeing it across social media and decided to try it out again. I can definitely say the store is in much better hands! The store was immaculate and the new staff are so friendly! It was great to see a hands on owner helping her staff and greeting customers. Will definitely be back!”

“Visited Root & Bone while in Fonthill. The atmosphere is upscale yet cozy, with an open-concept kitchen that adds to the overall experience.
My first visit here was when they were recognized on the OpenTable Top 100, and it’s easy to see why. Chef Raymond Taylor focuses on a farm-to-table approach, and it shows in both the quality of the ingredients and the beautiful presentation of each dish.
The food has consistently been well executed, and the service has always been good, making for a reliable dining experience.
Overall, a polished local spot delivering quality food and a great atmosphere — definitely worth a visit. Saluti.”

“I have severe food allergies and our server went above and beyond to accommodate. He either knew every ingredient or ran back and forth to double check things. Eating out can be difficult because my allergies are common ingredients. I ended up with a veggie pho that was incredibly tasty. Thank you guys again!!”

“We had a great experience dining at Young Thai Cuisine in Fonthill. The Crab Rangoon was a perfect way to start — crispy, flavourful, and packed with delicious filling. It had just the right balance of crunch and creaminess.

We also tried the Orange Cashew Chicken, and it was outstanding. The dish had deep, bold flavour with the freshness of real orange slices and a generous amount of roasted cashews. The shrimp in the dish were impressively large and well-cooked — a pleasant surprise!

The highlight for my wife was the Beef Panang Curry — rich, aromatic, and comforting. She loved the layers of flavour and the tenderness of the beef.

The only small letdown was the rice, which came out a bit harder than expected, as if it had been sitting too long or needed more water. A slightly softer, fresher batch would’ve brought the whole meal together.

That aside, this place is an awesome Thai spot and well worth visiting if you’re in the Fonthill area. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!”

“Sweetest little spot! Love the ambiance of both inside the cafe and the patio. Plenty of seating too! The barista was so lovely, patient and helpful with our orders AND popped outside to clean our table and chairs. Ordered an iced latte and the cold ‘Canadiano’, both excellent.
