“Visited this location in the summer and was not impressed with the cleanliness or the service quality that you’d expect from Pita Pit. Heard there was an ownership change after seeing it across social media and decided to try it out again. I can definitely say the store is in much better hands! The store was immaculate and the new staff are so friendly! It was great to see a hands on owner helping her staff and greeting customers. Will definitely be back!”

“My wife and I celebrated our 28th anniversary at Root & Bone, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely unbelievable—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and made our special occasion feel even more memorable.

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfect for an anniversary dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening. Highly recommend Root & Bone for anyone looking for amazing food, excellent service, and a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! 🍽🥂❤”

“I have severe food allergies and our server went above and beyond to accommodate. He either knew every ingredient or ran back and forth to double check things. “We had a great experience dining at Young Thai Cuisine in Fonthill. The Crab Rangoon was a perfect way to start — crispy, flavourful, and packed with delicious filling. It had just the right balance of crunch and creaminess.

We also tried the Orange Cashew Chicken, and it was outstanding. The dish had deep, bold flavour with the freshness of real orange slices and a generous amount of roasted cashews. The shrimp in the dish were impressively large and well-cooked — a pleasant surprise!

The highlight for my wife was the Beef Panang Curry — rich, aromatic, and comforting. She loved the layers of flavour and the tenderness of the beef.

The only small letdown was the rice, which came out a bit harder than expected, as if it had been sitting too long or needed more water. A slightly softer, fresher batch would’ve brought the whole meal together.

That aside, this place is an awesome Thai spot and well worth visiting if you’re in the Fonthill area. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!”

“The best pizza in Niagara! We’ve been enjoying it for 35 years and now 4 generations! At first it was a tiny take out and now a beautiful restaurant with wonderful full service, comfortable seating, lots of tv’s to watch the game, and a full delicious menu! If you’re travelling down Hwy 20 on your way to or from Niagara Falls, it is a must to stop here.We just ordered a couple of half baked to take back to Brant County where we now live. Don’t miss out!!”
