Merrittville Big Scoop offers fantastic pizza and delicious Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream. The ice cream scoops are large, and they also have lactose-free options available. The prices are good for the generous portions, which keep customers coming back. The place has ample parking, nice washrooms, and friendly workers. While the pizza size might be smaller than at some other places, the taste is unique and satisfying. On race nights, families can enjoy a fun, family-friendly event in the parking lot area. Customers praise the soft serve, calling it the creamiest and most delicious they've ever had, with real strawberry pieces in the milkshake. The ice cream waffle nachos with twist soft serve, cookie dough pieces, and hot fudge are highly recommended. The service is often described as fantastic, even during busy nights. Overall, Merrittville Big Scoop is a place where good portions, great taste, and friendly service make it a favorite spot for ice cream lovers and pizza fans alike.
