To be honest it’s mediocre. If you want something edible stop by. The saving grace is the Guinness but even still it’s poured improperly which you wouldn’t think from all the memorabilia on the walls. 2.2/5

A great light dinner in a comfy environment! Music was super, and at a volume that conversation was easily heard. Steph was a super server! Will be returning here.

My dad spoke so highly of this place and was excited to take me here for lunch. We decided to get two 2 piece fish and chips meals I also requested gravy for my fries because I love gravy. When the waitress named Danielle returned she gave us one fish each and some fries saying she split it she also forgot the gravy. We were confused since we both wanted a two piece meal each. My dad tried to politely ask for more fish since we both wanted two fishes each, and even tried to explain that's what we wanted. The waitress started to get very rude with my dad and consistently kept talking over him with an aggressive tone. Before actually fully listening to what my dad was trying to say. When she came back with more fish my dad thought it was a miscommunication and apologized because that's how he is. When the waitress realized it was a mistake she apologized but then immediately tried to blame my dad by saying he said split the 2 piece meal which I spoke up and said no he didn't say split she just said oh and didn't even bother to correct her poor behavior. When our food came out we just asked for to go boxes and left because we were just trying to have a good day and honestly this waitress killed our mood and made us very uncomfortable. I don't think I'll ever come here again which is a shame since the food was great however the service put a bad taste in my mouth.

I NORMALLY love the food at Butcher and Banker as they have vegetarian options I have eaten Here many times and usually get the veggie burger because it WAS good. BUT THEN my boyfriend and I went for dinner one night recently and as usual I ordered the veggie burger and I always cut it in half to eat it. Well I cut it in half and it looked like uncooked real hamburger even my boyfriend who eats meat thought it looked wrong.. I mentioned that it didn't look like a veggie burger and the waitress responded it is thats what I put it in as... I pushed the plate aside and didn't take a bite... there was no trying to correct the issue there was no apology...I paid for a burger I didn't even eat. Why would a vegetarian want their food to look so like meat and uncooked meat at that. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.. and will never go back

Food is excellent! Service is very attentive !
First time or two was nice atmosphere. Last 2 times were there, a musician or 2 were there. We didn’t enjoy the extra noise they made. Talent was average but restaurant was way too loud and could barely hear waitress never mind your company at table. I don’t know if we will go again.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very difficult to get into restaurant doors while trying to push wheelchair and keep doors open.

Soggy/undercooked very small side proportions for such a high price. Selling reduced portions with a raised price during a festival is a scummy move.
