Food okay wings are good but the wait time to get your food is unreal. If the wings were not good I would not go. The waitresses don't care but overall, ok place to go. Very very very casual 👌. Loud too!! Mostly. Fried food. Just be prepared to wait and 2 waitresses all the time.

Reviews were real. I decide to review for myself. I just tried this place now.
Management you must read your reviews. Not saying this to be mean, I’m for real. You need better service, fresh food…. Not wilted Cesar salad and my burger bun looks to me to be freezer burnt. My husband ate out of hunger . I will not be recommending this place to anyone. Needs way too much work with staff, food and service, atmosphere. Time to Master up.

The Trap has the best wings in the area. They are prepared perfectly and if you prefer them less saucy, just ask as they are always very accommodating. Staff are great! The Trap is a typical pub atmosphere, where friends gather.

I recently visited The Trap on a busy Friday night. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings and medium wings. While the food took quite a long time to come out, it was understandable given how busy the night was. The wings were decent, though not exceptional. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Much like a little dive bar or pub, It's not a horrible place to grab a quick bite to eat. The food is always fabulous. Service is great, but the atmosphere is exactly as you would expect at a neighborhood dive bar.

We tried the Trap today after hearing good things and seeing some tempting pictures. Firstly we were unable to order over the phone as they apparently took the phones off the hook. So we went in to order and were willing to wait around. The fries looked great, but tasted dense and cold when we got them, almost as if they were sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The onion rings were great. The pizza, we had high hopes for but we were quickly let down. The small kids pizza were tasteless and way too under cooked. The large pizza wasn’t much better, the crust was dense and thick, very heavy and not very flavourful. The toppings were a good amount, but similar to the small pizza, very undercooked. The sauce was ok and seasoned pretty good. Overall, especially after the wait, very disappointing experience.

Ive been here twice now- the first time wasn’t anything special (just had a drink). Came back again to eat instead.
Let me start off by saying how SHOCKED i was. Ive worked at restaurants my whole life and know that things aren’t always as clean as we hope them to be. But this place was something else. The bar didn’t seem busy, mostly locals and one waitress, i think her name was lisa. She greeted us with so much attitude and took forever to take our order. We ordered wings and drinks. When the drinks came there was a dead baby cockroach in my draft beer. I told the waitress and she looked at me annoyingly, took it from me without a word and i WATCHED her dump some of the beer out, top it off and bring it back to me. It gets worse folks. When the wings came they looked questionable, smelled off, and when i opened one up it was clear the wings were spoiled. My friend still ate them but i decided not to because i knew. (He got violently sick a few hours after… hmm.)
The service sucked not only for us but for any other non local that came in.
Health Canada needs to check on these guys.

I used to dine here often when I worked in the area and always had great food and great service. I was here with a friend from out of town today for the Niagara Spring Show and this was the first place I thought of for a late lunch. Big mistake! We were served our drinks and that was the last we saw of our waitress even though she walked by numerous times serving other tables.... After 40mins we left and went to Mossimo's where the service was terrific and the food was tasty. So after talking up The Trap to my friend how great the food was it was pretty embarrassing the level of service we received. I would have liked to have rated the food highly once again this time, but I guess we will never know. I suspect there was more to the waitress' neglect, sometimes haters gotta hate.
