Would recomend the Copper river Inn restaurant to anyone staying in Fort Frances, good food and service. While dining here my waiter was Kishor, he provided a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and excellent service.

Food was alright. Wait staff was terrible. At one point they were playing pool while we were waiting for drinks. Couldn't split the bill. Overall dont recommended.
Copper Place has such a unique and inviting vibe. The atmosphere feels fresh and different, making it stand out from other spots. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and want to stay longer. A truly great experience highly recommend

Service wasn't very nice more interested in their phones
It was a two day event...Octoberfest.. I went Saturday evening and there was literally no one there. They don't have a large, diverse selection of beer so I certainly wouldn't call them a taphouse! We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese...the pretzel came and it was doused with oil...literally swimming in it (apparently someone thought that's what you do with a pretzel before you heat it!). The beer mustard cheese had the consistency of thick grainy cream cheese....not melted gooey piping hot melted cheese like it was supposed to have. The 2 piece "band" they had might have been okay to listen to had they not believed that if they were over the top loud it would make them better...particularly when playing to an empty house. Overall, a very disappointing visit and would not go back again.. .for either a special event or an evening out! Too bad!
Amazing room. good service. Huge assortment of local beers
Stopped in here a couple times now the past couple times I've been in town and i have taken a real liking to the place ! Clean ,relaxing place to wind down after a days work. The bartender Forrest was very outgoing, friendly , and great conversation! I will definately be going back any chance I have!
Very nice, clean, new, restaurant and hotel. Food was great.and accommodating for food allergies. Staff was more than willing to prepare food gluten free. I was impressed with the staffs attention to detail and knowledge of current events. I would definitely visit here again.

wings are terrible. and the servers swear amongst each other in front of customers and aren't very nice. me and my man ordered hot wings from there and all 3 times they came out as honey garlic. they didnt get them right even after 3 times and I still had to pay for them. I went to pay for our order and there was two servers swearing amongst each other in front of me and another lady as if we weren't even standing there. terrible service. wont go again
The breakfast buffet was horrlible. I thought Green Eggs were something from a Dr. Seuss fairytale..apparently not. The waffles were rock hard and new food was brought out and mixed in with old. When we went to pay we were heading for the front desk when a very rude waitress informed us to pay in the restaurant... some signage would be nice as to where to pay. And @$18 a plate....robbery. Will not be returning.
This hotel pub greeted us warmly before we were even fully inside, with their woodland décor, walls plastered with tourism posters past and present and antler chandeliers hanging above. The plaid-clad staff was extremely friendly, proudly running us through their extensive beer offerings and eventually persuading us (not usually beer-drinkers) to try a few with our meal. The entrees were definitely good – we tried the walleye fish & chips and the bison meatloaf, accompanied by the apple walnut goat cheese salad (topped with chicken). The fish and chips was probably neck and neck with the bison meatloaf for sheer tastiness, though the meatloaf took the prize for gorgeous presentation. The salad, however, was stunning – for the price of an entrée salad, what came actually could have served two people, with every bite delicious. The entrée prices are a bit on the high side, but you do get huge portions for the money. We tried a cross-section of their drinks menu, a Lake of the Woods seasonal Mango Weiss, a Muskoka seasonal rice beer, a lemon & lavender Vodka Collins, and a cocktail called the Cold Front. We probably would be more inclined to reorder the mixed drinks on a future visit, but honestly, none disappointed. Though we were pretty stuffed at the conclusion of our meal, we did want to at least sample the desserts, so we ended up splitting a slice of 6-layer chocolate cake. It arrived not only stunningly tall, but also decorated with roses painstakingly carved out of strawberries, a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. If you’re staying in the hotel, you don’t even have to leave the grounds to find a great meal in Fort Frances. Definitely recommended.
Nice, knowledgeable wait staff too, so they help you figure out which beer is the right one for you. I hate hoppy beers and they set me up perfect with a nice, flavourful brown beer that wasn't hoppy
Just left this morning after 4 great nights. We loved the decor, the pub and the food. Staff were wonderful and we definitely appreciated the Starbucks coffee, available any time of the day or night
