Always a pleasure to stop there. If you haven't already tried it, you must try the Cantilever Chicken! To die for!

My 10 year old and I had an amazing dinner with awesome service. Even though we had no reservation on a Saturday evening, they seated us immediately. The food was delicious (upgrade to get the poutine for your side), the service was spectacular, and the ambiance was great. Parking was easy, and it was worth the drive across the border into Canada just to grab a bite. I would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Great restaurant experience, the service is great, the menu is fantastic. The best food in town!!! Brisket or Prime rib sandwiches are so delicious, salads are excellent!! The take out experience wasn't as great. I stopped and ordered and did my walk, when I came back half hour later to pick up, I still had to wait another 20minutes, so I am pretty sure the server forgot to put my order in, but the food is so good that it was worth being late back to work after lunch.

Very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. I like the rustic decor. The food (mussels) was excellent, it would be nice to have a small bowl of water and lemon for washing hands.
The toilets are also very clean.
This would be a favorite restaurant if we lived here.

Lovely spot, the service was good albeit slow, the food however was not reflective of the price we paid. We had the bruschetta which was actually quite good. Our main courses were terrible. My husband had the Godess Linguine, which was flavorless, and I had the Cantilever Chicken, which was dry as a bone. My side of fries were cold when served, and the vegetables were reminiscent of Knorr Arctic Gardens; boiled to near sterility and oddly sweet. This place would be the best restaurant in Fort Frances if not for the food. Will not be returning.

My party of two was seated and ordered off the lunch menu. The place was 50% full. After our water was delivered the waiter never stopped by. After 45mins I flagged him down to ask about our food. He said another 10-15mins. We left with no I'm sorry or apology for not letting us know the food was a very long wait.

I keep fearing going back to the Flint House because my experiences here have been so good that the pessimist in me expects the next time to be sub par. Not even close so far Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked, the veggies were deadly... yes the veggies and the Firecracker Apple cake is the different dessert I've been seeking for a while!! Keep it up Flint House!!

Food was great. Service again was very slow. After sitting for over half hour we can to go to the bar and ask if we could order drinks. Seemed like a staffing/ management issue as staff were friendly just overly busy and couldn't keep up with the volume of people.

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Serving was well sized. We shared an entree and appetizer and we had some to take home. Forgot to take a requisite photo. Sorry!

I liked this place. Really good service and polite waitresses. Excellent and interesting food. I ordered a blueberry lavender lemonade, a barley soup, a hamburger and a stake on a loaf of bread. Everything was nice. I also like the atmosphere in the restaurant and design. A little loud music but it's not too bad. I can recommend this place for sure!

Vegetarian options: I didn't order it but I saw a few options.
