They were overwhelmed with orders on the long weekend. Wait times for shawarma sandwhich and falafel was over 45 minutes. Ended up switching our orders to chicken with rice which had a 5 min wait time. All other restaurants in the area also had line ups. We wanted a quick bite to eat before boarding our cruise.
Chicken with rice was very good but pricey at $18 each. Both rice and chicken were flavorful. Fatoush chips tasted fresh

Had THE BEST chicken shwarma last night at Taste of Syria. This food truck totally gets the concept of "do few things but do them really, really well". The small but totally complete menu offered everything we needed for a perfect meal. We will be back!!

Visited this restaurant with my friends on the way home from Montreal. They have the best most authentic shawarma I have ever tasted and the warmest customer service! I definitely recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner when passing through Gananoque, make sure to try the shawarma!

Visited this beautiful town and came across this amazing and memorable food truck! I have tasted shawarma in many places and countries (including the Middle East) and this food truck was by far the best and most authentic I have ever tasted! Visited Canada for a sight-seeing holiday and will be leaving with the amazing memory of experiencing some of the best customer service and food quality ever??
I recommend this place to anyone travelling through the 1000 Islands, and even recommend travelling here just for the food!

We had the chicken shawarma wrap, fries (with a special homemade spice coating), and the most amazing grape leaves. We were so excited, that we completely forgot to take pictures. Even our two-year-old loved everything!
Such a wonderful, unexpected find in a touristy town. Thank you to the amazing couple for the love and care they have put into this food.

The worst falafel wrap of my life. It was really cold. They didn’t even consider warming it up. They should write on their board ‘Cold Falafel Wrap’ instead of just ‘Falafel Wrap.’
