“This wonderful cafe has become our “go to” when visiting the quaint town of Gananoque. The owner is absolutely lovely, the food and deserts delicious and the specialty teas we love!! The cafe is also home to artists studios so we are able to visit with some talented creators and see their work! Such an amazing collaboration and great atmosphere!”

“A terrific little restaurant with that European flavor. In business over 30 years the owner makes the dough and sauces from scratch along with the batter fir the chicken last Feb 2024 he just sold his 1 million pizza . Everything tastes so good. The staff are very courteous and ”

“A great historic spot serving awesome beers. 5 house brews and some guest taps ensure there’s something for every beer enthusiast. They also offer other great choices for the non-beer drinkers in your group. Earl was excellent in explaining the history of the building, the choices of beers and answered all our questions enthusiastically. They don’t serve food but allow any outside food to brought in and consumed on premises. They even have the choices of nearby restaurants listed… If you’re in Gananoque and love beer… be sure to pop in… you won’t be disappointed!Parking: There are spots in and around the street where the brewery is located as well as a parking lot across the street for a few other cars.”

“I never write reviews on google but really felt compelled to because of how much my partner and I have loved this restaurant. The service is always fast, the workers are kind, the food is phenomenal and they always seem to offer something extra with our order (for free) for us to try. I would definitely recommend trying Sushi Sun if you’re a sushi lover.”

“We stayed in Gananoque for the night while on our family road trip and we were heading back from the boat cruise. It was pouring rain and we had our toddler with us . We called ahead to confirm they had room for us and they said they had one table left and could hold it for us. We arrived 15min and the table was waiting for us. The food was great and affordably priced, 10$ for a 9oz glass of wine too! Our server Rhea was very lovely and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was a good one. We would definitely return if we are back in the area. Thank you :)”

“Food is great. Busy during the lunch hour rush but the staff does a great job of keeping on top of it. You can call your order in ahead of time too.This is a cash only location but you can get change at the gas bar next door if you buy a drink or chocolate bar.Definitely recommend ?”

“We rented the restaurant for my mother in laws 80th birthday party. The owner Brenda was so amazing to work with. She took a lot of my stress right off my hands by offering to do sandwiches and tea/coffee. We didn’t want to do a meal but just have finger foods available and this was perfect. We were able to bring in our own dishes and cake as well. When we showed up the restaurant was clean, organized and all set up for us.The manager Angela helped us set up decorations asked me where we wanted everything and ensured everyone had everything they needed during the course of the afternoon. I cannot thank the staff and owner enough for all they did to make this such a special day for my MIL. I am beyond impressed and we will be back often as the food and service truly are amazing. Thank you for helping us make this birthday so special.”

“I am in the habit of having a salad when going to Subway (chicken bacon peppercorn ranch salad). I was given a generous helping of all veggies as well as the meat. By far, the most filling salad I've had at a Subway. The servers were very pleasant, the atmosphere - well, it's a normal Subway seating area. Was there with a good friend, which made it an exceptional experience.”

“I would have never considered myself a “donut” person, but I’m quickly becoming one! I’ve now tried a number of their donuts and each one has been delicious - we most recently had their Boston cream and it was the best one I’ve ever had (it tasted more like pastry cream inside as opposed to a custard, which I loved). Their ice cream and gelato is also great - highly recommend the salted caramel!”

“This ice cream shop is located inside 241 pizza.The service and ice cream are both amazing and the prices are reasonable. We usually buy Kawartha at Costco and we're happy to see it being served here. Do note that they don't do samples.The flavour in my photos is Moon Mist (grape, banana, and bubblegum.) “I visited last night for the first time and will not be my last. The atmosphere was warm, cozy and inviting. Our server was absolutely awesome. We ordered baby yorkies for apps...delicious. all the ingredients complimented each other perfectly. For mains we had the steak and ale pie. Scrumptious flakey pastry with melt in your mouth beef in a delicious sauce with veggies. A side of hand cut fries really hit the spot. An all in all great experience!”

“This is a solid option for supper when you are in Gananoque. Prices are fair and there is the option to dine in. The dining area is far from spectacular but service is fast and courteous and there are generally some decent meal deals for families.”
