We were there for a late luncheon after the boat cruise in early June of 2025 celebrating our 55th year reunion of college graduation (20 of us attended the luncheon). We couldn't have asked for better atmosphere, service, reception of the staff and food choices. The Dockside was an amazing experience, they were all very friendly. The staff were very accommodating when we came in with our group of 13. Food and drinks were amazing, the service was very fast and very friendly.

The servers were lovely (even made me a dealer's choice drink that was delicious). My chicken sandwich was deliciously crispy and so flavourful! We were a party of 13 (4 kids) and they kept all our orders and different bills separate. Taylor was fantastic! She did such a great job, even got the kiddos temporary tattoos! She and the other staff were attentive even if it was a bit busier, and checked if we needed anything. Thanks so much for the great work you did!

We came back from a boat tour and stopped there for lunch. After waiting 20 minutes and still not even getting waters while there are 3 servers standing at the bar talking and there were only three tables we decided to leave. On our way out we asked the hostess Dora if this treatment was normal and she started smiling and snickering while we were frustrated and blamed it on being understaffed. When we explained to her that there are 3 servers standing at the bar talking and there were only three tables she cut us off responding “thank you, have a good day” . The lack of service in this place is laughable and the staff should be embarrassed.

I enjoyed the 1000 Island Burger I ordered and found the location right by the dock to be a convenient way to enjoy the early evening Gananoque atmosphere. The service was a little slow, to take my order and eventually to bring my bill when I was done. And when I wanted to inquire about breakfast options the next day, the person who talked to me was not exactly the friendliest and was dismissive, so the first visit and interactions were much better in comparison.

Cruise ride was in more than half an hour away, restaurant did not serve us food and did let us use the restroom, 2 star for just being polite. Folks don't be fooled this is pure canadian passive aggression.

We happened to stay overnight and decided to get dinner, went to the restaurant an hour and half before closing while the servers were still taking orders from others, I and my familynof three kids were told they wont be able to host us. When we asked them what time thry close, she refused to tell us, then she proceeded to seat in others. I asked a different server and she said they close in one and half hour but the first waitress came back to stop us again and pulled out a victim card that our tone is too rough. Horrible people, you get the worst treatment if you are a person of colour. All the others they let in after us were white people.

A huge shout out to our wonderful waitress tonight Reanna! She was so friendly and welcoming, and even helped us out with a special request. Great service is always appreciated and remembered ? We had a nice little table inside by the open window, with a pretty view of the water.
The greek salad was terrible, wilted and brown lettuce. The young lady serving us was very pleasant.
