Everything was delish. I had the tuna melt, it reminded me of my mother's recipe. My husband's hamburger was definitely homemade. The cheesecake with yogurt amd a red velvet a red cake mix was amazing. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Dockside Restaurant and Gift Shop! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing — the perfect spot by the water to enjoy a great meal.
Our server Melanie was outstanding! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Her warm personality and genuine care truly made our dining experience special. It’s rare to come across service that feels this personal and sincere Melanie deserves all the praise.

We had the best experience after the cruise. Didn’t know what to expect but we had our best meal here :) lovely atmosphere, no loud music , no TVs :) really a great place to enjoy a great food and great service ! Thank you 🙏 oh and can’t miss the ice cream either 😎👍

Absolutely fantastic place, my husband and I came here for lunch and wanted to sit on the patio. Unfortunately there was no room as they had a few big tables. Not a big deal, inside was just as welcoming. We had the loaded taco fries and the el pastor burger. Fries were season perfectly and the burger was great although a little messy. Lol. The high light was my loaded fries, omg so yummy had to stop eating them cause the portion size was very big.
Our server Makyla was great and was very attentive. I've heard how good it is here and finally had time to try it. We will definitely be back!! Good job dockside!!

We loved this restaurant so much that we came back twice during our visit to the city! The sandwiches are excellent — we tried all their chicken sandwiches and wraps, and every single one was delicious.
The bread is fresh, the chicken is flavorful, and everything tastes homemade with care.
The tomato soup was rich and comforting, and the fries were perfectly crisp, homemade, and full of flavor.
On top of that, the service was warm, welcoming.
A wonderful spot we would definitely recommend and return to!

We were there for a late luncheon after the boat cruise in early June of 2025 celebrating our 55th year reunion of college graduation (20 of us attended the luncheon). We couldn't have asked for better atmosphere, service, reception of the staff and food choices. Thank you so much for your wonderful service and we will definitely recommend the Dockside for future gatherings.
Can't sat enough good things about the food but more importantly about the service! It's a pleasure to patronize this restaurant. So we'll run!!!

The Dockside was an amazing experience, they were all very friendly. The staff were very accommodating when we came in with our group of 13. Food and drinks were amazing, the service was very fast and very friendly.

The servers were lovely (even made me a dealer's choice drink that was delicious). My chicken sandwich was deliciously crispy and so flavourful! We were a party of 13 (4 kids) and they kept all our orders and different bills separate. Taylor was fantastic! She did such a great job, even got the kiddos temporary tattoos! She and the other staff were attentive even if it was a bit busier, and checked if we needed anything. Thanks so much for the great work you did!

We came back from a boat tour and stopped there for lunch. After waiting 20 minutes and still not even getting waters while there are 3 servers standing at the bar talking and there were only three tables we decided to leave. On our way out we asked the hostess Dora if this treatment was normal and she started smiling and snickering while we were frustrated and blamed it on being understaffed. When we explained to her that there are 3 servers standing at the bar talking and there were only three tables she cut us off responding “thank you, have a good day” . The lack of service in this place is laughable and the staff should be embarrassed.

I enjoyed the 1000 Island Burger I ordered and found the location right by the dock to be a convenient way to enjoy the early evening Gananoque atmosphere. The service was a little slow, to take my order and eventually to bring my bill when I was done. And when I wanted to inquire about breakfast options the next day, the person who talked to me was not exactly the friendliest and was dismissive, so the first visit and interactions were much better in comparison.
