Simply the BEST schnitzel. We feasted three days in a row on Hunter / Rahm schnitzel and added the borscht soup. Oh so mouthwatering and satisfying. No visit to gananoque is complete until we feast at Maple Leaf. Thank you to our Server Ben for taking excellent care of us each visit.

Had a bizarre dinner there. Food was acceptable but arrived an hour after we placed our order - and only because after repeatedly asking the waitress for an update and getting no concrete response, we told her we were leaving - then the food magically appeared. Who knows what was going on in their kitchen.
I'll also mention the place was not busy at the time, and several other tables that arrived after ours had their food - and sometimes even finished and left - before we were finally served.

Good restaurant. The food is delicious. For lovers of European cuisine, and not only, my advice to you is visit this restaurant, you won't regret it.
The food is the star, 3 excellent schnitzels and a fine vegetarian casserole. Service was good but nothing remarkable and the same can be said for the decor. But I'd return again and again for the food.

Great experience. Ordered steaks, red cabbage, duck, veggies, and dessert. Overall excellent. Steaks we got as we ordered, loved it. Duck was well done but could be a bit more. Red cabbage reminded us of the European touch. Desserts were delicious as well. Bravo! Thanks for best service and cleanliness -was spotless. Michelle was astounding, pleasant and friendly waitress, though she is owner's wife.

Went here on the Labour Day weekend and had the worst meal we’ve had in a long time. Ordered the junior schnitzel and was served a very small 1/8” thick schnitzel with no flavour whatsoever. The salad was awful and the vinaigrette was watery. For $17 I was expecting a decent piece of meat. Place was busy and they had 1 waitresses on duty, took an hour and 20 minutes for a bad meal. Save yourself the money.
