Nestled in the heart of downtown Gananoque, Maverick's stood out on a cold winter night. Situated in a beautiful picturesque building, it was hard to pass up it's warm and cozy allure.
Coming in out of the cold we were greeted with bright smiles. We were able to seat ourselves so we made ourselves comfortable in their dining room which was beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Our server was sweet and friendly, quickly taking our drink order. They had one of my favourites on tap, Rickard's Red. My girlfriend was uncertain about what to order and our server talked through some options with her and even brought the cans out to show her. It was a huge help and she ended up loving her drink.
We each ordered a burger. My girlfriend had hers with sweet potato fries and regular for myself. They were delicious, juicy and full of flavour.
Between the cozy atmosphere, excellent service and top notch food, I would absolutely turn for another meal. Don't pass up Maverick's if you find yourself in Gananoque.

There are no words that can be used to describe the essence that is the Chicken Alfredo at Maverick's. This Alfredo must have won copious awards somewhere along its journey. Everyone should try it at least once in their lives, and then again, many more times. Not only does this Alfredo have the potential to dominate the food industry itself, it could possibly bring about world peace. Chef Gordon Ramsay himself would give this dish and the chef's whom prepare it, a standing ovation as well as a genuine but rare, Ramsay smile. I will continue to drive the 2 hour round trip to to enjoy this masterpiece as often as I can!

Stopped here for a quick late dinner, after a long 5 hr drive. Place looked busy so we thought we would give it a try and we weren’t disappointed! Food was great! My husband has chicken parm with pasta and I had mushroom soup with their salad with blueberries, walnuts, grilled chicken, fried goats cheese. Yah that salad was to die for!! So hard to find a good salad and this one was delish! Chicken parm was also very good… the table of locals beside us ordered it and they knew what to order!
Service was exceptional. Only regret was that it was dark and we didn’t get to see this beautiful town in daylight.
Very good find, fabulous place to stop enroute to Quebec. May have to stop again on our way home.

I can’t really tell You what it was like cause we were ignored at the front for about 10 min and were not acknowledged at all by two waitresses passing by Even with me smiling - thinking we were going to be served. So I went to sit at a table Where we were still Ignored two kore times We just left after being there for 20 min. Horrible.

I am unable to actually rate this restaurant. My husband and I went to have dinner, but we ended up leaving. The people sitting 2 booths away from us were so loud and obnoxious. They kept swearing it was extreme. So for me the atmosphere was not good at all. People need to show some respect.

After spending hours frolicking around town attempting to blow all my Canadian currency, I'm glad I wandered into this place. The staff was quick, efficient and friendly. There was a healthy mix of people in there (blue collar, white collar, young, old e.c.t.). And as this was my first time leaving the USA this ended up being a fantastic place to fratenize with people and learn about the area. This is a place you can show up with the boys to watch a game. Or bring ypur godsons for a great burger.
Such an excellent experience every single time we go here. Great food great staff and very well priced. You will not be disappointed.
