Just had an experience here that confirms Starbucks' recognition that it's having management problems/structural issues. My friend ordered a coffee. It was served in under a minute. I, however, made the mistake of ordering a flat white. After eight minutes waiting I asked the barrista if my order had been forgotten. No, she said, it's an espresso drink so a different lineup than standard coffee. But you're next, she said, then proceeded to make two drinks for the drive thru before turning to mine. A 12 minute difference between the coffee and the flat white is unacceptable for a place that calls itself a restaurant, which should priorize turning out an order more or less at the same time. I guess the drivethru wins out over timely counter service. $11.00 for two coffee drinks isn't cheap; delivery needs to improve
