We stopped in here on a Friday night in December, and I am so glad we did. The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. The Christmas decor is stunning too. I got the fish and chips which was huge portion, and the breading was perfection. My friend got the whiskey burger and was equally as impressed. The layout is a little fragmented with the pub in the basement, and an eating space on the upstairs sunroom, but this doesn't impact the service, what a cool vibe! You won't regret checking this place out!

Very cozy and comforting place. Feels like you are visiting friends or family rather than staying at a pub. Fresh food made from local products and nice craft drinks. Friendly and patient servers.

Pleasant, non-intrusive service.
We arrived at a quiet lunch time. There were almost no people in the restaurant.
The food is very mediocre.
The burger is a bit dry, the potatoes are overcooked and not in the freshest oil (in our opinion)
The fish was tasteless and with a lot of oil.
The salad was dressed with some cheap sauce.
We came hungry and still didn't eat some of the food.

The food is outstanding! We had the fish tacos, the fried pickles, the cauliflower bites and the potstickers and everything was excellent. We were particularly impressed with the wasabi aioli!
We didn’t catch our server’s name but she was delightful and we had a great time.

We came out of town to have a lunch today around 12 noon on September 28, 2024. Eagerly looking to try this place. To our surprise, we and other couples were told we are too busy and the wait is 45 minutes despite seeing empty tables inside and outside. We obliged and went next door spa & hotel that has much better welcoming atmosphere and view to the St. Laurence River. Food was great and servers/staff much more welcoming. Too bad about the service or lack there of.

There was live music and the food was excellent. The waitresses were overwhelmed with so many tables but it was a great experience overall.

Loved this pub! A great little find by the water in a cute town. Service was so friendly, beers and food excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the pub has a great atmosphere.

We passed this pub on our tour of America and were immediately given a place for 4 people outside. There was a lot going on, so the waitress had her hands full. Not everything went smoothly: a long wait to order and for the food, cutlery only arrived 1/4 hour after the meal. But the service was super friendly. The food was delicious and the portions were large enough. The price-performance ratio is also good.
We had a nice evening and felt comfortable.

Food was excellent. Fish and chips and shrimp were crispy and delicious. Beer was really nice. Service was a little slow but it was close to closing. Really liked the option of sitting on the screened porch. It was surprisingly comfortable and cozy.

The young person who served us was especially nice and hospitable.

Parking: Construction in the area makes parking close by a bit of a challenge.
