Great local place for sushi! They have a take out window which is fun and the owner is very nice. He gave us a complimentary order of tempura. And everything was so tasty. And he's a dog lover and had a treat for our dog. We had a sushi picnic in the park.

The food was excellent! The owner was incredibly kind and helped me understand the menu in English. I mentioned that I hadn’t had any vegetables since the beginning of my trip and really missed them — and he generously offered me some vegetable tempura. Such a thoughtful gesture. We have seen our local sushi options become less impressive and decided to try some advice and go to Sushi Sun in Gananoque. It was well worth the 25-minute drive. It is takeaway, and the service on the phone helping with recommendations for our first experience was very helpful, and when we arrived for pickup, the friendly service continued. The food itself was fantastic. The presentation was wonderful and tasted even better. It is well worth the value and time to go there and we will be back for sure.
