Friends of mine stumbled upon Sushi Sun two years ago. To say that this place has ‘good sushi’ would be to do them a disservice: better sushi than you’ve had in Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal. The truth is, their sushi is so good, you’ll keep quiet about it. It’s like a secret that you know about, that you don’t want the masses to know about. From speaking with the owner on the phone, to picking up your order, to the sashimi, nigiri, maki, or sushi itself, care exudes...
The food is incredible, and the owners are absolutely delightful. When our friends and family visit from out of town, they always request ordering from here again. We’re really lucky to have sushi of this quality in Gan.
Outstanding drive through Sushi service! Super friendly and helpful staff. Varied selection of sushi and other Japanese foods. Highly recommend, although do try to order ahead as the wait can be about twenty minutes if ordering at the counter.
