I’m sure the food here is very delicious and the service is good, however, it’s very frustrating to see a restaurant named “the hungry herbivore” selling salmon, tuna, chicken, and shrimp. It’s false advertising that disrupted mine and my family’s plans due to such a limited menu for vegan options, which was not expected due to the name. Again, i’ve heard the food is great, but we wouldn’t know due to the false advertising
We don’t live in Kingston but we found The Hungry Herbivore by accident two years ago and we loved it! Today we were driving near Gananoque and HAD to stop for lunch there again. It was just as delicious and fresh as we remembered! The Vegan Bowl will make your socks roll up and down, and I am in an Oat Fudge Bar swoon! My husband and I simultaneously said “Wow!” when we bit into them. Great location and the owners and staff are super friendly and nice. The secret ingredient...
Really great spot for vegetarian and vegan food! Reusable forks, compost, woman owned… and the food was amazing! Would highly recommend to get a tasty meal that’s super healthy and nutritious.
