Wish it were possible to give 100 stars to Churchill's Old English Pub! From the moment we walked into the authentically-decorated restaurant from the cute outside patio, we felt like we were actually in olde England. And the food! We had the most delicious streamed mussels appetizer followed by a steak and ale entree for my husband and a lovely pineapple stir-fry curry for me. No TVs, no muzak soundtracks, low lighting, booths and the true feeling of an authentic Brtish...
I love the food here but ...each time I have gone to the pub there is a long wait not only for a table but for a server to acknowledge and food to be served. It is not a place to go if you are in a rush.
Had sign outside to wait to be seated. We waited for awhile then went inside. The hostess who was standing by the bar if we saw the sign outside . I told her we were there for awhile and she was not happy that we came inside.
The bar was out of every IPA on their menu. My wife’s burger was well done which she understood they could not cook it the way she wanted but she didn’t expect more than well done. I orders fish and chips. The fish was good but I expected better...
