This restaurant is located at the Gananoque Inn and Spa. The patio has a good view of the waterfront. The food is good and overall a pleasant place to have lunch or supper. It was very busy (poker run weekend) so it took a while for service. We weren’t in a hurry and we appreciated how hard the server staff were working to ensure everyone had a great experience. I’d recommend eating here.
Sometimes a road trip calls for a slight detour to visit small beautiful towns, and enjoy a local restaurant. The Gananoque Inn, right on the water, historic building didn’t disappoint. Our waiter was welcoming, friendly. The menu had something for everyone and food was delicious. The view …awesome??
The dinner was quite good (chicken supreme and curry). The breakfast was decent but not for the cost.
The service is a bit awkward and generally doesn’t seem to have enough staff. If you want ketchup, salt and pepper, etc etc you have to ask. You could detect an air of frustration among the customers. We were never in a hurry so it didn’t...
