I had selection of sushi and it was terrible. The rice was too dense, the sashimi was not fresh. The prawn hand roll was greasy. The music was loud and added to the terrible atmosphere.

We ordered Bento Box take out for two people and when my husband got home he told me it was $71.08! I was so shocked. I realized we were ordering off an old menu, so looked up the prices on their website. Sure enough, since we last ordered (must have been a while ago!), the prices have gone up 30%! There was a discrepancy with the price between my husbands order and the website of $1 plus tax, so if we were charged correctly it would have been around $69. The salads that used to be included, were not there. Not only that, but my sushi did not come with wasabi and ginger. When we called, we were told that salads were no longer included (even though they show on the website) and that we could be refunded the $1 difference (I guess we weren’t getting our tax back). I said never mind, lesson learned and we would not be back. The food is good, but certainly not worth the price.

I have ordered from hereand eaten here a number of times. Best sushi within a 30 minute drive. Period. Good experience both in restaurant and for takeout.

Love this place. We have been going there for years. Staff is very friendly. Sushi is very fresh and tasty. Must try this place if you are a sushi lover.

My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday. Normally, this restaurant is great. Unfortunately, some very inconsiderate people ruined the experience due to being extremely loud and disruptive. It was not just us whom were bothered about it either. Perhaps this group should have dined at home on pizza and beer if they cannot behave themselves. April 9, 2022

This is the final straw with yo-yo. We have been loyal customers for 9 years and this is now the 3rd time In a row that we have ordered with a 2 hour window for pick up and upon arrival we are told to wait another 30+ mins for your order. I strongly recommend using another sushi restaurant in Georgetown as this is disgusting

I ordered online for lunch. When I picked up order, the pricing was different than that of the website. I brought this to the girl's attention. She insisted that the prices were the same. She showed me a menu to try and back-up her claims. She was not interested in checking their website. I simply brought it to her attention for the good of the restaurant. I double-checked pricing when I arrived back at work. I was correct. I ordered a lunch bento box and veggie rolls. The bento box comes with the appetizer of the day....which was veggie rolls. The girl that I placed the order with did not tell me that. Disappointing. To top it off the tempura was not cooked. The coating was pasty and the veggies not cooked. (yams) The rice was cold and had the consistency like yesterday's leftovers. Overall, not a good experience today.

This was our third takeout from Yo Yo recently. The food is always fresh, & impeccably put together even for take out. We had teriyaki salmon & shrimp this time but have also had the chicken & beef. We also shared a maki roll & salmon sushi — all excellent.

Placed an order and was notified that it was ready for pick up and when we showed up on Mother's Day to pick it up they said they didn't have it and we'd have to wait at least a half hour for a new order. I don't think they could organize a square dance they were so useless. Guess mom gets a big Mac this year. Thanks yo yo. You certainly are a bunch of yoyos. Last time I order from them.

So it has been a while that we decided to really treat ourselves here, usually it is just a Green Dragon Roll. We decided to each get a Sushi and Sashimi Dinner Bento Box, the first time in years. WOW! Firstly, each of us got a box and couldn't finish it all the portion is so big. Secondly the quality of the sashimi was top notch. The Ahi Tuna and Salmon were so fresh they literally felt like they melted they were so soft. The tempera was perfectly cooked and love love their miso soup. Yes they have been around a long time and we first went to them when they first opened with different owners and sometimes things change and standards fall but not here. Can't wait to do it again but next time we'll share a box and get some Gyoza.
